1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Rookie Jewelery Efforts, Looking for Comments & Critique [a little img heavy] on: September 11, 2009 10:03:11 AM
I agree in removing one flower on the first piece. The asymmetrical look is very in right now and that would be cute. I also noticed that more of your pieces are made with darker burnished brass chains. Do you have any shinny silver or gold to use? The pastel bubble beads would look more playful with a bright chain. I love the last two. Is that a small scepter on the third from last? The pink and green beads seem out of place to me. If you had a large bobble or glass pendant to replace the hook thing that would be cute. Otherwise, I think its just practice getting your eye for pieces that can go together. These are really attractive.

My favorite is the tree with the steel blue glass beads but they are all beautiful. You make the best tree of life pendants.

Yay for the Hayao Miyazaki fans! I love your Totoro and the cat and moon earrings. You could say that it's Gigi from Kiki's Delivery Service. So cute!

They are all very cute. The watermelon cupcakes really catch the eye. The lime cupcakes are my favorite because I love the color!

Thats hilarious! Poor cat is probably having an identity crisis, though.

I adore Halloween! It really is the most unappreciated holiday in my opinion. These are great and I love the little pieces. The bingo card and dressy skeleton on the last house are awesome.

Folded paper is actually quite strong in my experience. For normal everyday wear they should be just fine. These are adorable and I really like the tiny stars. Id say you would have a few takers if you made some to sell. Perhaps try to make them shorter, the posts seem rather long and I know I dislike that because they get in my way and tangle in my hair.
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: 'Spock Rocks!' Afghan on: August 04, 2009 07:43:04 AM
This does indeed rock, as you say. I love it when people make Star Trek crafts.

Yes, the White Rabbit needs numbers on his watch! I thought it was the March Hare holding something tea related! These are too cute. I like the Cheshire Cat.
