1  Re: EVERYTHING TO DO WITH MARIO BROS GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by GroovyMaryDesigns on: September 18, 2009 12:20:26 PM
YAY! My partner received her package and now I can post pictures! Smiley

First off what I received from Mrs.Superman:

a Mario & Peach silhouette frame

Yoshi bowls and magnets

and what I sent my partner (who is expecting a baby this winter)

a diaper bag

with the flap of the bag open (it's starry fabric - I was going for the screen shot of Mario falling through the sky after defeating the baddies, however I only bought iron on transfer paper for light colored fabrics - ah live and learn Smiley

part of the inside of the bag - the green tubes are bottle holders

the other part of the inside of the bag - both the ? box and the Goomba are pockets

here's a lousy picture of looking down into the bag

and also a baby onesie with Mario & Peach on it - my partner said she and her hubby like Mario & Peach together

This was my first swap and I had a lot of fun with it. I'm sorry again, Mrs. Superman for sending it out so late, but I hope you think it was worth it. Smiley Enjoy!

2  Elvis Placemats in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by GroovyMaryDesigns on: June 09, 2009 12:48:41 PM
Hi! I made these placemats for my aunt for Christmas who LOVES Elvis.

I used the panel fabric for the design and then framed it with black cotton (I think it was broadcloth I used). I also interfaced one side of the fabric before stitching it all together.

What do you guys think? This is my first project posting on crafster. Smiley
