2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / AcrylicosVallejo acrylic paint Burnt Dark Rose? on: January 09, 2017 06:23:43 AM
Has anyone managed to mix something of a color similar to this? Paint chart is found at www.acrylicosvallejo.com . I only see it in this brand. In Spain they sell a small size 20 ml and in UK they sell the 60 ml have not seen the 20 ml in any online shop in EU.

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Stopped buying sets of coloring items, which single colors to buy? on: January 03, 2017 08:36:39 AM
Used to buy coloring sets of pencils, watercolors, acryl, pastels etc Since sets is usually the same standard colors I got thinking about buying single colors in more unusual colors/hues. A few years ago I got some single oil pastels of the gold/metallic type. Now I am looking at watercolor pencils. Things like venetian red and pompeii red caught my eye. I did buy a magenta single watercolor pencil some time ago and a pink not sure what color exactly as its number is not at the site I bought it from.If anyone has unusual single color watercolor pencils would like to know what you bought?
I like vibrant colors and seldom use neutrals. What do I buy? Smiley

9  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Covering one side of old blanket with quilt fabric? on: November 02, 2016 06:33:07 AM
I have an old 100% cotton fabric blanket that used to be thick and warm and over the years and many laundries became thin it is coming up to 30 yrs.
I am thinking of maybe covering one side of it with quilt cotton fabric leftovers. I do handsewing/handquilting so this will go slow.
Has anyone attempted something similar or in a smaller size? Will it be warmer after I finish it?
10  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / Re: The Gliiter Pot co.uk is it closing? on: October 18, 2016 02:11:48 AM
I had not been to see at the site since many months as I was on a no-buy for crafts. The online shop has had no new items since I started looking again around start of fall/autumn. Does anyone know if www.theglitterpot.co.uk is closing down?  Huh
