1021  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Record Curtain! on: February 22, 2006 01:17:08 PM
I want to make one of these for my pantry door (kitchen is very retro) where the records go all the way accross and down. Did you drill little holes to attach them to the string? I went to the flea market on Sunday looking for records and decided I need to figure out how many i needed first, then the idea of how the heck i was going to put the mtogether came up. How did you do it? I use my drill for everything under the sun, I just wonder if the record will break or not. Thanks!

Awesome idea for the checkbook cover! I am going to try to make one..the one the bank sends is free, but UGLY. Maybe that is why I keep it in a drawer and not with me most of the time...haha

The hello kitty one with the eyes is AMAZING! I have too many covers already, but I might try my hand at it to see what happenes. I may have to interchange my pates in every room on a monthly basis! I'm inspired!

My boyfriend bought me just about every kit she has last year for Christmas. THEY ARE AWESOME! Buy all of them, (very affordable) you will be busy for weeks. I travel a lot, so they come in handy for that easy travel project. Smiley
1029  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Where to find mason jars with glass lids? on: December 06, 2004 11:10:06 AM
I have a few of them that I bought at a tag sale over the summer for 3 bucks for my mom. She didn't want them, so I washed them out and they are sitting on the counter by the sink. They have been here for what seems forever. They are OLD. I cleaned them, and they look great. You are welcome to them if you would like to pay the postage. I am in Massachusetts.

They say ATLAS or BALL on the side and have glass lids and wire locking mechanisms. Email me @ xladyluckx@aol.com

Let me know either way, as I will put them aside for you. OTherwise, I am going to bring them home and try and find something to do with them. Smiley haha
