1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / What online sewing resources do you use? on: November 01, 2011 09:09:45 AM
I just wrote up a post over at my blog about my favourite 3 sewing resources for beginners (Craftster being one of them!)

BurdaStyle and PatternReview are two others I recommended and use quite a lot - but I wondered if anyone here had any good online sewing resources they use on a regular basis?

Gertie from New Blog For Better Sewing has a really good post on her blog on how she modified her dress form for a better fit, you can find it here: http://www.blogforbettersewing.com/2010/05/meet-new-and-improved-veronica.html

It's probably been said before... but I could never ever ever live without my seam ripper. I have two, just in case I lose the other Tongue

Oh wow, it is very classy! Reminds me a little of Blair Waldorf's style on Gossip Girl Cheesy it's awesome that you made something so nice out of fabric that was just lying around.
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Sabrina dress from BurdaStyle on: April 01, 2009 06:21:03 PM
I love the patterns on BurdaStyle - haven't been brave enough to actually buy one, but I think I might have a go at this one too with a little more practice!
