3  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Easy Peasy Swap 2 - Signups 4/17-5/8 - Sendouts 5/30 CLOSED !!!! on: May 14, 2009 10:32:32 AM
i just wanted to say.. i'm very excited for my first swap, but the first thing i started for my partner made me so frustrated i was nearly in tears (LOL), so i think i'm going to be taking a different direction with things.
i'm glad my partner and i swapped lots of info. :] helpful!

one of my first ami's was a very similar turtle. :] you did a GREAT job! ami is addicting and it seems my projects have gotten better and better with each one, so definitely keep stitchin'!

i really love the colors; pink and green are personal favorites of mine. :]
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Flowers all over the mother! on: May 09, 2009 11:31:00 PM
these flowers are better anyway, they last forever! Tongue
you did a LOVELY job. i really should look for a nice rose pattern.. my mom loves yellow roses.
i'm sure your mom will adore them!

Vaguely off topic is ok, but totally off topic is where I'm supposed to say something.  Star Trek + crafty talk = great.  Star Trek alone = off topic.

Not trying to be a meanie, just doin my job.

you're not a meanie. Tongue i was reading the replies and i went ?! cuz i wondered if i was reading the right topic! LOL. oh well. we all slip every once in a while, and a friendly reminder is never a bad thing. :]

peace love and stitches!

as always, roxycraft, you never cease to amaze me! i love your creations.. your "creatures" are the cutest i've seen; i'm quite picky about whether or not i buy a pattern, and i LOVE yours. keep up the amazing work!

i'm a huge fan. :] i love the belly button.
8  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Easy Peasy Swap 2 - Signups 4/17-5/8 at midnight - Sendouts 5/30 on: May 04, 2009 12:58:51 PM
wist is an online wish list of things that you would love to have.  if you go to www.wists.com you can sign up for your own and it puts an addition to your toolbar so when you see something you want online you can click the Add to wists button on your tool bar to add it to your wist.  hope that explained it.

yep, it was pretty much what i thought, but i wanted to be sure. :] thank you!
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: 2 of my new dolls on: May 04, 2009 10:33:44 AM
omigosh, beautiful! i had to comment on this for two reasons. 1) to tell you how awesome these dolls were. and 2) to tell you that your goddaughter looks JUST. LIKE. ME. when i was little. no lie. LOVE it! :]
10  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Easy Peasy Swap 2 - Signups 4/17-5/8 at midnight - Sendouts 5/30 on: May 04, 2009 10:30:33 AM
so this is my first swap.. (although it doesn't say on the list, like the others), and i just wanted to say that i'm very excited to participate! it's such an awesome idea, because people keep asking me "but what do you DO with what you make?! just hang on to it?!" while most things i make have been gifts, sometimes i make stuff for no purpose. so this gives me purpose. and i'm happy. :] YAY! *can't wait to get started*

btw -- can anybody explain "wists" to me? are you just supposed to add stuff you'd like to receive? (such as a purse similar to the one shown on a wist, or whatever).. i think i understand, but i just want to be sure.
