3.  Mom2 - tea kit - scones, spoon, tea cup, tea, homemade jam
4.  Dad2 - Eagles - painting?
5.  Grandma B - Quilted shopping bag

6.  Grandma T - likes violet
7.  Chris - Guitar Hero guitar strap (Beatles) or Beatles painting
8.  Mike - ?
9.  Amy - Decoupage Sucrets container with matching key fob
10. KT - Clutch

11. David - KC quilted flag
12. Mike2 - Tea Wallet

13. Alicia - ?

I received my package from Hawkeyes_girl!  She really spoiled me!  I requested altar decorations for Samhain, a mask, wall decorations for the 4 elements, and well I don't want to give it away so you'll just have to wait and see...!

First a picture of everything all wrapped up...I love when I get to unwrap.  It is so fun and exciting like it's my birthday.

I started unwrapping and look what I found...cute little pumpkins for my altar!  She made them out of a sweater and knitted? the top.  That reminds me!  A lot of the items she made had materials that she upcycled.  That is totally awesome and really helps the environment!

Next thing I opened was a bag of cinnamon smelling pumpkin cutouts.  They made the whole box of goodies smell really good.

Next is 2 pairs of homemade "footsies" for my daughter and I.  They are really soft and warm and my daughter was crazy happy about receiving something.  You can even see her feet in some of the photos because she is taking off her shoes to get ready to put them on.  I must have forgotten to take a pic of mine.  They are blue.

Next, she sent me some beautiful pressed leaves to put on my altar, some poprocks which my daughter totally stole from me, and this elixir/potion kit.

So, I have to admit...sometimes I get the directions mixed up mid-ritual so I asked for some wall decorations for the four elements to help me out.  This is what she sent. Grin

I've had a thing for those tree of life pendents and guess what Hawkeyes made me!  A Freya's necklace version.  It is so beautiful.  She also made me this lovely charm bracelet.

I really needed a mask for this Halloween and intuitively Hawkeyes_girl made this mask.  It is blue and green and has peacock feathers.  Which are my fave colors and fave bird!   Cheesy

I told you she spoiled me...there's more!

I love those ritual kits at my favorite newage store but they are like $40 so I asked Hawkeyes if she could make me one.  She came up with a Samhain ritual that she wrote herself and it came with a bag of ritual items!  It's very beautiful and I can't wait until Samhain to try it out!

Last but not least, she made made me a altar cloth with a crescent moon.

I wanted to show you before and afters of my altar.  Pardon the "mess" on the before.  I had purchased some new items and the Mystic Fest and they were haphazardly laid about.

Now, here is after I put all of my new goodies from Hawkeyes out.  Doesn't it look great and festive!

Thank you so much Hawkeyes_girl!

Freya

I finally found some inspiration for my large.  I was getting really worried that I wouldn't be capable of making either of the large options that my partner requested.  So, off to the store to buy some supplies and then I'll probably be finished at week end...right on time!

Hi all!
So, I got to see Ronda at the Mystic Fest. She gave both my daughter and I a stone reading and it was great!  Totally right on and my daughter and I kept talking about the different things Ronda uncovered through out the day which was an excellent way to open communication channels between her and I.  This was my first real reading and I thought it was amazing.
I didn't work on much this weekend but I did do some shopping.  I'm away on my biz trip for the week.  And oh Yah!  My shrine that Ronda made is next to my bed and it is such a nice feeling to have something from home.   And I really did well on my presentation today.  I didn't have as many jitters so it went very smoothly.  Thanks again Ronda!
Gotta go...

I have completed most of the small/mediums, now I just need to figure out how to do the large.  I'm hoping to get some inspiration this weekend at the Mystic Fest.  I can't wait and I also get to meet Ronda because she will be vending there.  Is anyone else going?  It's in Omaha NE.  Just a heads up - next week I'll be on a biz trip the entire time so I will try to post but can't guarantee anything.  I'm taking my new shrine from Ronda with me.

I thought I read somewhere in my law class that if you change/alter a copywritten piece by more than 30?% then it is not considered stealing or illegal?  Or, maybe I am thinking of patents?  Plus, if you are not making money from it then I don't see any legal issue either.  I see a ton of items on Craftster that use other art in there creation, but have changed it a bit.  I would hope that it isn't illegal, or even ethically wrong.

For example, I have seen a lot of Twilight things (like a quilt with various pictures from the movie) on Etsy that have not been altered.  That would be an example of illegal/wrong.

If you painted a portrait of Bella and sold it, then I think that would be ok.

Ronda, really, there was not too much glue!  It doesn't look like that in real life, I think the camera flash made the glue more shiny/obvious.  I Really, Really *love* the shrine you made me.  *Gives big hug*
