1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: The Spooky 4-foot Papier Mache Halloween Tree on: September 15, 2010 04:32:13 PM
This is super-sweet.  We love the 'ween and do a haunted house thru our garage every year.  46 more days!
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Old Koozies??? on: September 15, 2010 04:15:29 PM
Attach them end-to-end to make pool noodles!  Maybe with o-rings of some kind, then they would be flexible pool noodles...

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Girlie Hand Mirror from Recycled Toy on: September 15, 2010 04:07:05 PM
I didn't want to throw away this broken paddle ball (the ball always breaks off, doesn't it?), so I transformed it into this girlie hand mirror...cute, no?

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: 100 Happy Days Tag Book on: September 15, 2010 03:53:35 PM
Adorable!  This project could easily be moderated to fit the recipient as a gift; i.e., '### days of summer' or '### days on our honeymoon', and you could add little photo corners to put in pictures or movie ticket stubs or whatever.  Thanks for sharing!

Sweet!  I love little notebooks, I have them everywhere.  Leather is especially nice.

Oooh, I really like the 'decay' effect, and the cutout parts are really smooth, great job! Smiley

MUST. MAKE. CALVIN. BOOK. I was laughing at the strips that were showing in the photos, I remember reading them and cracking up.  I have to go get those books out now...
9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / Where To Find Things To Recycle / Re: Where to get cheap/free maps for roads, subways, etc. on: March 31, 2009 07:17:40 PM
Check your local convention & visitors bureau - for example, where I used to live in Florida, they had several free maps and booklets with maps in them - www.destin-fwb.com.
10  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / Where To Find Things To Recycle / Re: free or discounted books? on: March 31, 2009 07:13:48 PM
Our local Habitat for Humanity Re-Store has a monthly book sale - $2.00 per bag, they are regular plastic grocery bags, but I can easily fit about 10 books in them.  Cheaper than Goodwill or even garage sales, where books are at least 25 cents each!
