Here is the gallery from last year - feel free to join - everyone with all their different ideas for tags are welcome.  I am hoping for inspiration and new ideas from you all too!

Thank you for posting the gallery.  I started searching through past galleries and ended up taking a detour - have you guys seen the 'under the sea' swap gallery?  There's a lot of neat stuff!

As soon as I can think of my 5 themes, I will be sending my questionnaire in.  I'm really excited about joining this swap!

This sounds fun! I think I'll find last year's gallery and determine if my skills are up to snuff.

Thank you Sevs for hosting this swap and getting us partnered up so quickly!  I'm really looking forward to getting to know my partner!

Woohoo, I submitted my questionnaire earlier this evening! It's been quite a while since I've done a swap, or even been on Craftster, so this will be a fun way to get back into the swing of things  Cheesy.

Bittersweet moment...I have released all the art into the wild!  I wonder if my partner will hear anything back.

I left the first piece at a craft fabric show.  I figured most of the people there were creative individuals who would enjoy a little bit of inspiration.  No one picked it up while I was looking around, but  I ended up circling back to the booth before I left and it was gone.

On my way home that night, I stopped by a new superstore.  It had just opened a few days before, so it was very busy.  During one of the brief intervals while I was the only one at the entrance, I slipped the art into one of the many shopping carts waiting for customers to take them for a spin.  It was still in the cart when I finished my shopping and I heard a mom tell her kid not to take that cart because there was something in it.  I left the art though, because I figured either a customer would actually look and see that it said "Free Art," or a worker would come across it and it would hopefully brighten their work day.

Later, I stopped by the library to pick up some audio books for my daily commute.  I left one of the canvases on the shelf with the mystery books.  It seemed to be an appropriate location.  It was near closing when I left it, so I'm thinking somebody probably found it the next day.

Later that week I went to the post office.  Again, it was close to closing time, so I left it in the lobby that's always open for PO box customers.

I left the last one at a gas station window.  The window gets a lot of traffic, so it seemed like it would be quickly discovered.

It's neat that some of us have dropped at the same locations in different cities.  It makes me wonder if I'll visit the library, post office, or gas station one day and come across a fun little craft waiting to be found!

This was a fun swap, thank you JMiller for being such a wonderful swap hostess!

I love seeing where everybody is abandoning!  It's really neat that we get to hear from some of the 'finders!'  I wonder if anyone will send my partner an email about the pieces I've abandoned...

So far I've abandoned four pieces of art and have one left.  I have pics of all the abandonments, I just need to find some time to upload them.  Hopefully I'll get a chance soon!

There are so many neat things in the gallery, I've been able to look at them, but haven't had a chance to reply (I wish there was a mobile app because I usually check out the pics on my phone, but I always have difficulty writing replies).

I've seen a lot of people have printed on fabric.  What methods do you all use?  I iron on some heat and bond and cut the fabric to regular paper size and run it through the printer no prob.  The only thing with this method is that then I have the heat and bond papered to the back.  So far it's worked out fine and I've just ironed the printed fabric onto whatever medium I'm working with (paper, wood, other fabric...).  But I'd like to know of another way to do it in case I don't plan on 'gluing' the fabric to anything.

Moving right along, I'm happy to report that I've received a great package from Bunnie Boo!  I had to go to the post office to pick it up and I was so excited, I ripped into it before leaving the parking lot!  I was very pleased with what I found!

I love this little guy!  I sat in the car and put him on my keys right then.  He's so cute!!

Next I found an excuse to begin a Hoopla wall!  Ten is my fave, so Bunnie Boo created this cross stitch pattern just for me  (thank you so much Debbie, it made me feel special to read that  Grin)!  She was afraid that his face is too chubby, but I think it's perfect!  I love that he has little rosy cheeks!

Next I saw a Dalek on some canvas.  At first I thought it might be a bag, but upon closer inspection, I saw that it was a cushion cover!  I love the placement and curve of the word "Exterminate."  I put it on a couch cushion as soon as I got home, and guess what...it fit perfectly!!

Last but not least was the heaviest item...  The pages are all unlined, so I'm excited to use this for some zentangles, ideas, and probably a lot of "Bad Wolf" doodling!  Bunnie Boo did a great job with the panels on this.  I'm not sure what she used, but it looks amazing!  The paint is two-toned, so it gives the journal just the right amount of character!

Thank you for everything Bunnie Boo.  I love it all!

PS - I hope you receive your package soon and like it as much as I like mine.  I sent it nearly a week ago and it hasn't even made it out of the yet Sad.  I'm hoping it goes on a plane tonight, defies time laws, and makes it to you by the end of the week!

I am mailing out tomorrow (the Post Office is closed today  Sad).  I'm thankful that my partner has been so patient.  As someone said earlier in the thread, I promise, it's worth the wait - now I just hope my partner agrees!

I have abandoned two mini canvases so far!  I will post pics and include more details soon Smiley.

Also, thank you everyone for the comments on the birdhouses, I had a lot of fun making them all.  LeapFeetFirst, I can't believe how fall weathery your pics look, it's still very end of summer here.  You have the perfect backdrop for all those birdhouses!
