1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Yeti Yeti on: June 13, 2011 07:06:00 PM
I was hanging out in my back yard when I felt something giving me the stink eye. As I turned around I saw blue fur in the tree so I had to get a closer look! There sitting in the tree top was a little yeti munching on some leaves. He looked a little threatening but I crept closer as quiet as I could be. He was a very inappropriate monster because he turned around and and gave me a shine!

Silly Yeti!

Check out more pics at my blog! I also have a giveaway for new followers!

2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / no drip summer time treat :) on: June 13, 2011 02:30:24 PM
It is getting hot outside and I am back to crocheting up these cute little ice cream cones. I have made a ton of these toys but never really appreciated how much babies really do love them until I had my little boy Smiley He loves them and will chew them and shake them until he just cant go any more!

I guess I wanted to show off the ice cream cones and show everyone how big my little one is getting. I cant beleive is already 6 months old!

My daughters school is doing a fundraiser in the fall. Parents are encouraged to put together a basket for a silent auction. Since their mascot is an owl I thought I would play around with some owl plushie ideas. This is what I came up with. I think it turned out really cute! C&C welcome!
Oh and I put the pattern on my blog to share with you guys! The blog is pretty new so I am really excited about it Smiley

6  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Spider Hair Clip on: October 01, 2010 07:20:59 PM
My daughter came home and told me about a hair clip that her friend was wearing at school. She really wanted one and it seemed pretty easy to make so after a trip to Hobby lobby and a couple of hours today I made a ton of them. I had no idea people curl the ribbon by throwing it in the oven. So... I learned something today lol
Here is our final Hair Clip and my excited daughter modeling one Smiley I think they came out pretty cute.

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt Bunny, Bear, and Cat on: August 08, 2010 06:28:48 PM
I just heard about the Toy Society and decided that I wanted to do it with my daughters before school starts. So I found a child friendly simple pattern and decided to do a easy bear, bunny, and a cat out of felt. I ended up embroidering on them and I think they came out really cute. I am hoping to do the toy drop this week.

C & C welcome Smiley
