oh my gosh, looks like Cookie is having a blast, I so wish he could have took me with him, I bet you had to drag him away from those cookie recipe books  Cheesy  I love the Totoro cushion you have, big Totoro fans here  Smiley

Hayley saw some of our city centre today, we decided to take a walk while Emy was at her dance class so she got to see our town hall and the peace gardens surrounding it, We will be doing a full tour or our city centre another time

I thought Id already posted  couple of pics here but I guess not

Hayley arrived with a bag of oh so yummy Salt water taffy and a lovely card and letter

She got settled in and met Miles the monkey from a previous LV round, so they had lots to chat about

and found a comfy spot to take a nap with our kitty

Sunday we had an early start as we went to car boot sales, this was 7am in the countryside

Then in the afternoon we went out to the cinema to see Senna

Followed by lunch and chocolate sundays

and for our something blue picture....it was messy, there was lots of rum, followed by buttons and I think at some point button angles were made  Cheesy

I did these hoops for the previous hoopla round

couple of progress pics

The fabric was a nightmare to draw the design onto

Finished hoops

I mainly used satin stitch, with some backstitches and brick which was a new stitch for me, I had to re-do it a few times till I got the hang of it
