Holy guacamole I can't believe how much work and dedication you put into this...i'm speechless...it's beautiful.
112  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: A yellow experiment, a comfy dress on: April 15, 2009 11:53:09 AM
I love your dress and I hope you find the confidence to wear it outside of your home. Not many people look good in yellow, but you are rockin' it! The dress flatters your shape and you are adorable.

What a fantastic idea! I am going to steal the button-wall-paper idea for an end table, thanks ;-)
115  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Spring Clothing//Road trip! (IMAGE HUGE) on: April 15, 2009 10:48:22 AM
Very nice! I'm impressed and in awe of anyone who can sew with jersey knits. I don't quite dare to try...

117  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Some Angry Angel inspiration *patterns added on page 2* on: March 26, 2009 05:49:37 PM
The cutest things I have ever seen crocheted! My crocheting skills are minimal at best, but I'm definitely going to at least try them. Someday when I have lots of patience.
118  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Men's Ties / Neckties on: March 26, 2009 05:43:00 PM
Someone gave me 60 vintage neckties in all sorts of crazy clashing colors and patterns. Grin
I'm looking for project ideas and inspiration. What would you make? It doesn't have to be a sewing project either, I'm open to any suggestion.
119  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: people just don't understand (rant!!) on: March 22, 2009 12:41:57 PM
Ooh I hate that! Non-sewing people often think you sit down and whip up a dress or a quilt in half an hour. I have a friend who used to drive me crazy asking for a crocheted scarf so I finally told him that if he wants a unique handmade scarf then I'll teach him to crochet. He doesn't bug me anymore  Wink
