     I made this quilt for my niece.  I asked my SIL what she wanted and she whatever I wanted. I had so many different fabrics I wanted to use that I was driving myself crazy trying to pick a color palette  and finally I decided to use EVERYTHING. It's about 30"x30"

I wish I had better pics but all I have is my phone. It's so much more vibrant in person.  Sad

This was the first time I did mitered(sp?) corners. It's one of those things I was afraid to try because it looked so difficult, but it was actually pretty easy.  Here's a link to the tute I used: http://seamslikely.blogspot.com/2009/04/tutorial-mitered-borders-for-quilts.html
