That's the cutest lil zombie I've ever seen.

Obviously I voted for myself, but if I hadn't entered I would vote for you. Look at those teeny tiny stitches! They're perfect and so intricate and pretty.

They make me smile Cheesy  I'm so impressed by your tiny-stitching ability!

Thanks  Smiley  I'd like to try making some that are smaller. The only thing better than tiny things is super tiny things!

It kinda looks like a mushroom, right?

I've been meaning to make some worry dolls for a long time so I'm glad this challenge was here to kick me in the butt.  i started out making a tutorial, but it was taking forever to finish them with all the stops to take pics. So here are a few of the pics and no tutorial.

I peeled apart twist ties and wrapped the wire in tissue paper to make the bodies. In this pic you can see how I put together the dolls with skirts.

All the dolls finished:

At first I made the faces sort of detailed with different color eyes and smiles and whatnot, but they were creeping me out. Also, the worry dolls I had as a kid were just eyes and a mouth kind of slopped on so I wiped off those creepy faces and did vague faces. Much better!

I made the house/box out of a Teddy Grahams box and painted it with acrylic paint that is seriously about 10yrs old. I love projects that use materials I already have. No money spent and no long bus rides to a craft store.

Here it is with a ruler so you get a sense of it's size.

Thanks for looking!

Could you post a pic so we can see where the embroidery is? All I can think of is to iron some light weight fusible interfacing over the whole thing on the inside to cover all the itchy spots

Maybe I should have mentioned that the skirt isn't finished lol. I was experimenting with different lengths and it's held up with pins and bobby pins in that pic. But, the horsehair braid sounds like a good idea. I've never used it before so it should (hopefully) be fun to try. Thanks for answering!

That makes sense, thanks

I mostly love this dress, but I feel really square in it. The ribbon helps a little but I wondered if having the plaid be diagonal on the bottom part of the bodice would help more? I have a pear shape and I want to emphasize my small waist.
