I'm in a swap here on craftster...my partner's theme is teapots. I've crocheted a teapot pin cushion for her. I would like to attempt to make some small straight pins w/ a teapot head.
Is that possible? If so, can you please give me details on how to do it?

I'm not sure what to call the items I want to make. But here's my idea:

My father-in-law recently passed away.
I want to make family members a Christmas tree ornament out of his worn flannel shirts.

Now for the questions:

What shape would you think appropriate? Heart? Diamond? Star? Or something else?

How about some type of little saying on the back, like "In our hearts forever" with his date of birth and death? Or something more involved? (Remember I'll have to embroider this, so the fewer the words, the better.)

I'd like to print out a tag of some sort to attach to it. What would I say on the tag?

Any and all ideas/comments welcome!

We have a silent auction in September at my church.
I'd like to crochet a Christmas tree skirt, if I can find a pattern that looks up to date. I don't want the red, white, green yarns used in traditional ways.
Prefer it to not be granny square.

I'm wondering if anyone has instructions for a skull necklace? My son is getting married in October and of course they're using a Halloween theme. So the bridesmaids are wearing a black & white dress...now they need something really funky and shocking around their neck.

Anyone have ideas? TIA

Over the years, I've made numerous fleece blankets. And what I have left are the 4" squares that are made when turning the corners on the blankets.

Anyone have ideas what I could do with these scraps? As I said...they're about 4" square.
