I had so much fun making this necklace.  It was the first necklace I made without using wire.  I had a vision and I ran with it  Kiss

2  Reversible Tote / Opinions Needed! Pic Heavy in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by creativequiet on: April 30, 2010 05:37:30 PM
I made this reversible tote and I added a ribbon closure.  I love the way it looks with the ribbon, but is anyone going to tie a ribbon when they want to close their purse?  It is the only way I could think a closure would work on a reversible purse.  At least that would look good.  What do you think?

A pic if the main fabric and ribbon closure

I added a big pocket inside and outside.

I tucked the ribbon inside so you could see what it would look like without the ribbon.

The other fabric with ribbon.

And without.

Thanks for looking!

3  More Liz Clutches! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by creativequiet on: November 06, 2009 06:23:59 PM
I can't stop making these things!  Here are 2 more and I like them even better!  b2j2fitz asked for instructions on how I made it.  Here is the rough instructions.

The body measures 13 inches wide, 7 inches deep.  I used a CD to round the corners.  The flap part measures 10 3/4 inches wide, 3 inches deep.  You cut out 4 pieces of fabric (2 outer and 2 lining).  Then I fully interface the outside with lightweight fusible interfacing.  The lining I only interface the flap part.  For the button loop, I cut a piece of fabric 5 X 2 1/2, fold in both sides to the middle, and then fold again.  From here you put it together like if you were making a purse.  If you need further information, let me know and I will add it here.  I hope this helps!   Grin

I welcome any and all comments!

4  The Liz Clutch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by creativequiet on: November 03, 2009 05:46:45 PM
I have a new design!  I am falling in love with it!  I call it The Liz Clutch.  I started designing it this weekend.  I was dreaming about it and couldn't wait to get started on it.  Well, as most things do, it didn't look quite the way I saw it in my head.  Today, I played around with it, and I must say I like it better than I imagined!  Sorry about the pictures.  It was getting dark and I really wanted to get a few shots.

I need feedback from you!  I love it, but do you?  I am keeping this one myself, but I am itching to make more!  Wink

5  Flower Clutch/Wristlet/img heavy in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by creativequiet on: October 20, 2009 05:13:42 PM
I made this one for me and I love it!  I carry it everywhere!  It is great for quick trips when I just need my wallet, cell phone and keys.  When I need a purse, I just put it in there and it is like a wallet!  What do you think?  Smiley

Thanks a bunch!

What do you think of this new creation?  I made it yesterday.  I couldn't wait to show it off!  I love the pattern.  I think it goes really well with the style of the bag.

Thanks!

9  Alexander Henry Print Tote Bag/IMG HEAVY in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by creativequiet on: April 05, 2009 11:39:36 AM
I said I would post the other one once I got it finished!  The bag is made form the same pattern as the orange tote bag.  I just changed the straps.  The bag is 16 1/4 in. wide and 10 1/4 in. deep from the lowest point.  The straps tie, so they are adjustable.  Fully interfaced.  Big pocket inside measuring 6 1/2 in. wide X 5 1/2 in. deep.  Comments welcome and appreciated!  I think I love this bag!

10  Orange Tote Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by creativequiet on: April 02, 2009 01:44:29 PM
Very roomy bag!  I had an idea in my head and this is what came of it.  Let me know what you think.  The inside lining is from a pillowcase I got at a second hand store.  There is a big pocket inside.  I have been making bags like crazy!

Thanks for looking!  I am working on another one today.  Just changing the straps a bit.  I will post soon.
