31  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Giant Multi-Theme Round 3 Gallery on: August 25, 2011 10:14:55 AM
Thanks for all the complements.  I had a blast making everything and the Sinful Sues were a challenge.... But worth it.

The mardi gras bead bowl was done in my oven with the beads (old school 70s beads) wrapped around the inside of a stainless steal bowl.  It took a long time and I had to wrap the upper colors after the lower beads had softened because I as going too high in the bowl.  I will do it again but will be looking for a wider bowl than the one I used. I would say it took maybe an hour overall.

33  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / 13 days of Halloween Swap? Interested? Organizer? on: July 17, 2011 10:17:56 AM
Hi Everyone, I am wondering if there are people out there wanting to do a 13 days of Halloween swap?  I love this swap and want to know if we want to do it.  I am not an experienced organizer so I am hoping there is someone who can organize and I can assist.

Thanks

this is the new image.  It is smaller and done on the front corner of a hoodie for me

This looks MUCH better on the shirt.... was done in two layers and looks kind of old and worn and I think looks great...

there is a program called Make The Cut and that is what I use because you can upload a jpeg image and it will cut it.  that is the only program that does it easily..... there are SO many small pieces that it is a little hard to cut and so I have to repiece them when I iron on the freezer paper..... I am cutting another now because I KNOW I have to make one for each of the friends I am going to visit.... basically it needs to be slighly simpler image with larger cuts for it to be cricut friendly..... not sure if it is possible

I used the image..... was able to convert it and cut it in my cricut .... it is not as detailed as the original because in the cutting I lost a lot of smaller pieces... but I am still in love with it!  I made it for a friend who I am visiting in a week.... but I am not sure that I can give it away.... so I am going to make a few more......  here is the pic

THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!!!  You made some HP geeks VERY HAPPY!!
