No, I didn't get the paints, but I did get a refund ($177) after calling multiple times.  I instantly spent it on my latest craft - Kumihimo (? spelling)!  It's a Japanese braiding technique that I'm going to use to make a necklace to go with a sweater I'm knitting.  It's actually a pretty inexpensive thing to try; I just tend to go nuts buying books and a lot of accessories.  That's the fun of being a craftster - there's always something new to try!

Thanks so much for the link; it's comforting to see that others are having problems as well.  I wouldn't be nearly as frustrated if it didn't look like they are going to start producing new products and staying in business.  I'm glad they've gotten enough infusion of cash to stay in business, but they should take care of they're "old" orders first and start the new stuff once that's taken care of.  Congrads on not ordering, you can use the money on stuff you'll actually get!

I was wondering how many other people are having problems getting items/refunds from Luminarte.  They advertised a 40% off going-out-of-business sale, so I placed an order for paints on Feb. 20.  They charged my card on March 9.  I called three weeks ago to see how long it was going to take and was told that the order would be mailed in about 4 days.  Then I received their general e-mails indicating more delays.  I called again on Tuesday, April 20, to cancel the order and get a refund and was told it was in the box to be shipped that day.  I insisted on a cancellation and refund (and was given a hard time, BTW.)  I called again this morning (Friday, April 24) to see if the refund had been made and was told that it would be done today.  Needless to say, I don't believe it.  Do any of you have similar stories or is it just me?
