21  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Salt Water Taffy Afghan on: September 01, 2013 02:06:55 PM
I named it that because of it's colors. I am sending it on to Project Linus.
22  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Journal for a friend on: August 25, 2013 08:06:24 AM
I have a friend in England who loves to keep journals. His birthday is in September. I wanted to make him something special so I combined his two favorite things, a journal and his cat. Inside is a cheap composition book which can be changed out when the journal is filled. Fingers crossed, he likes it Smiley

23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / For: Project Linus on: July 27, 2013 02:19:05 PM
I am not happy with this but my wrists have been giving me a fit and I sorta just gave up. Hopefully some child will love it anyway. I don't care for the arms but they are as the pattern called for.
24  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My First Poppet...and maybe my last on: July 23, 2013 09:11:06 AM
My granddaughter asked me to make her a fairy doll so I decided to try my hand at a poppet. I am amazed at some of the fantastic poppets I see on here. I had an awful time with it but hey, it's done and hopefully she will like it.
25  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Inuyasha on: May 23, 2013 01:16:29 PM
My oldest granddaughter asked me to make my youngest granddaughter an Inuyasha. I, of course, said yes not even knowing who the heck Inuyasha was. Thank goodness for the internet. It took forever to do his hair. I still have to make a sword but here he is...almost...done. I wasn't sure whether to post here or in crochet since he is both.

26  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Leonardo and Raphael on: May 05, 2013 12:29:22 PM
My grandson ( who is going on 29) loves TMNTs. For the last two birthdays, I have given him one character. First Michaelangelo and the next year Donatello. My wrist seem to be failing me so I decided to make sure he had all four turtles by this birthday. So here they are.

And here are the first two

27  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Baby blanket on: April 08, 2013 12:15:56 PM
This is a free pattern from Ravelry. I don't care for my ducks but it's done and now off it goes to Project Linus
28  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / yarn hair doll with plastic head and hands tutorial on: April 01, 2013 07:06:00 AM
Someone posted a yarn hair plastic head doll and hands with a tutorial. I bought the head from ebay but now I can't find the post. Can anyone please help?
29  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Little Dragon on: March 18, 2013 08:03:06 AM
I wish I had done a better job on this. It's a great pattern from Lucy Ravenscar.
30  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Reuseable lunch bag on: March 17, 2013 12:39:54 PM
My daughter asked me to make her a lunch bag for work, not too big and make it simple. This is what I came up with. It is lined with Insul-brite and canvas. It measures 8 3/4 by 8 1/2.
