1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Furry Murray on: December 21, 2014 08:16:33 AM
My daughter just adopted a senior rescued Labradoodle. He is very sweet and a welcome addition to her family. I made her a tiny Murray for her tree. He is maybe 4 inches tall and is based loosely on a pattern by Beth Weber. I hope she likes him.

2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Here Kitty on: October 28, 2014 01:24:38 PM
Another for Project Linus. It is a bit wonky but I doubt any child will care. I used the Stack and Slash method.

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Sail Away on: October 11, 2014 01:00:24 PM
Simple little quilt for Project Linus. I just realized that the last four blankets I have made have been for boys. Shocked
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / c2c flag afghan on: September 28, 2014 10:04:57 AM
This is not my original idea. I saw a similar one posted by a lady on a Facebook group I belong to. I wish I could remember her name. Anyhow, I added a border and stars to her idea. I think it is pretty cool looking. I mail my Project Linus blankets to Jacksonville, Fl. There is a Naval Air Station there so I thought it would be appreciated by someone in that area. The stars are not crochet but appliqued.
5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Just a quick blanket on: September 27, 2014 12:41:27 PM
This is just a quick little blanket for Project Linus. It is flannel and minky. Took a half an hour start to finish. It is warm and so soft.

6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Patriotic Quilt (sorta quilt) on: September 12, 2014 01:19:41 PM
I got a whole bolt of this fabric for almost nothing. I decided to make a simple quilt for Project Linus with some of it. In fact, I will probably end up making several quilts with it before it's gone.

7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Abby's Sunflower Quilt on: September 08, 2014 12:06:21 PM
My dgd has quite the green thumb. She grew an eleven foot sunflower this year. That was the inspiration for this quilt

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Bunny Lovey on: August 28, 2014 09:24:29 AM
Another for Project Linus

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / TMNT Lovey for Project Linus on: August 23, 2014 11:15:26 AM
I used WolfDreamer's Michaelangelo for the head and arms. The blanket part is C2C stitches. I would have loved to put more detail but since it will likely go to a toddler, I was afraid to.It is 18in. square

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Cookie Monster Coin Purse on: August 09, 2014 08:05:29 AM
The design came from http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cookie-muncher-cookie-monster-inspired-coin-purse-pattern

I made it for my granddaughter. Very quick and easy
