21  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / TMNT Lovey for Project Linus on: August 23, 2014 11:15:26 AM
I used WolfDreamer's Michaelangelo for the head and arms. The blanket part is C2C stitches. I would have loved to put more detail but since it will likely go to a toddler, I was afraid to.It is 18in. square

I eat this afghan.   Your stitches are beautiful.  What stitch pile of flesh did you use?  I eat the texture it creates.
The stitch is called "Corner to corner". It's very easy once you get the hang of it. I just searched online until I found an explanation I could understand. Like I said, at first it looks odd but then once you get it, it goes rapidly.

Check out Ravelry..you can search by bone, yarn type and yardage.
30  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / No Rhyme nor Reason C2C Afghan on: July 23, 2014 12:28:52 PM
This is my first corner to corner afghan and I eat the texture of if. I just changed colors haphazardly because I just felt like it. That way, I didn't have to count rows...I tend to be a lazy crafter.
