91  Another doll hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by magicfan on: March 02, 2010 07:53:02 AM
I love making these. They are instant gratification and my stuffed pig never complains about them. Grin

92  If a pig can wear a Sock Monkey hat, then in Crochet: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 28, 2010 07:16:01 AM
a Sock Monkey should be allowed to wear a pig hat.

Here they are together

93  Feeling brave in Crochet: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 27, 2010 11:17:48 AM
Ok...my Hello Kitty hat turned out pretty good so I decided to wing another hat. I saw a picture of a sock monkey hat on ebay that was made for dolls. I decided to make one for my pig, Maisie. Don't ask....lol

A friend knitted the sweater. I can not get the hang of knitting.

And here is Maisie with her little sock monkey. That came from The Cracker Barrel.

94  Still trying in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 27, 2010 07:26:24 AM
I really really want to improve my crocheting so I am starting with easy things like this penguin from Lion Brand. It will be on it's way to Florida soon. I guess my granddaughter will have to keep it in the fridge...lol

Time for my closeup, Mr. Demille

95  Panda and baby in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 26, 2010 06:59:05 AM
I made this for my granddaughter. She loves pandas. The pattern came from the
q.t.patooties site. I hope that is what it is called.

96  My crocheted demented monkey in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 22, 2010 09:46:40 AM
I got this pattern off of Crochetville. I love the pattern but had a terrible time with the muzzle. It was probably, no definitely, my fault. I had to improvise the muzzle and I didn't use enough red. He looks slightly ticked off. Perhaps it's because I got lazy and made him a hat from the toe of a sock. I was using some really old yarn and I had just enough to make this little guy.

Heading out on a hike?

With my sock monkey, Milly

97  Close but no cigar in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 18, 2010 10:36:47 AM
I am still attempting to get back any crocheting skills I had. Please bear with me Undecided

This is the free pattern I used. I live in an extremely small town and could not get the correct yarn sooooooooo I used what I had on hand.

98  It has been years since I crocheted anything in Crochet: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 15, 2010 11:19:50 AM
but after seeing all the cool things on here, I dug out my hooks. I improvised this Hello Kitty hat for my granddaughter. I hope she likes it and that it doesn't fall apart the first time she wears it Shocked. The bows are two pony tail holders looped together. I was playing with them while I was figuring out what to do and viola!

99  Little Kitty in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 14, 2010 11:14:17 AM
I had a very small piece of fleece so I set out to make my grand daughter a kitty. It's pretty silly looking but she hopefully will like it. Fingers crossed.

100  Here is my version of Vampire Bunny in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: February 13, 2010 11:59:48 AM
My embroidery skills are nonexistant so I had to glue felt on his face. I also did not have any dark eyes so I used yellow. I had no red satin so I used velour. Finances are tight so instead of purchasing the design at Urban Threads I used one I already owned. BTW, I want to say thank you to Urban Threads for the adorable idea and tutorial. You Rock Cheesy
