111  Not really my thing in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: January 24, 2010 01:46:20 PM
My daughter asked me to make this but I actually pretty much hate it. I can't wait to get it out of here. Sad I hope she likes it but I will never make another one. I like to make cutesy type sock animals.

And this is how he met his end Grin

113  Boy, did I mess up in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: January 20, 2010 10:52:12 AM
I love this little pattern http://weewonderfuls.typepad.com/wee_wonderfuls/store/pointykitty.html but I kept messing up. I cut something wrong, ran out of fabric and could not get the head on right. I also didn't stuff enough. All my own fault. Here is this poor sad little kitty

I made this for the little three year old next door. I embroidered everything but I am terrible at it. All in all, I think it's got some personality.

117  Sock Frog in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: November 02, 2009 11:38:18 AM
This was a request by my granddaughter. She wanted a pink and green frog. Luckily I had the perfect pair of socks. It came out funky looking but she loves it. It's nose is a lady bug.

My five year old grand daughter is very specific in her wants. She asked me to make her a black and white bird with wings ready to fly. I hope this works for her... Grin

120  Not real sure in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: October 04, 2009 10:07:49 AM
I guess it's a weird cat. When working with socks, sometimes things take on a life of their own  Grin
