11  Journal for a friend in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by magicfan on: August 25, 2013 08:06:24 AM
I have a friend in England who loves to keep journals. His birthday is in September. I wanted to make him something special so I combined his two favorite things, a journal and his cat. Inside is a cheap composition book which can be changed out when the journal is filled. Fingers crossed, he likes it Smiley

I am not happy with this but my wrists have been giving me a fit and I sorta just gave up. Hopefully some child will love it anyway. I don't care for the arms but they are as the pattern called for.

13  My First Poppet...and maybe my last in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: July 23, 2013 09:11:06 AM
My granddaughter asked me to make her a fairy doll so I decided to try my hand at a poppet. I am amazed at some of the fantastic poppets I see on here. I had an awful time with it but hey, it's done and hopefully she will like it.

14  Inuyasha in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by magicfan on: May 23, 2013 01:16:29 PM
My oldest granddaughter asked me to make my youngest granddaughter an Inuyasha. I, of course, said yes not even knowing who the heck Inuyasha was. Thank goodness for the internet. It took forever to do his hair. I still have to make a sword but here he is...almost...done. I wasn't sure whether to post here or in crochet since he is both.

15  Leonardo and Raphael in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by magicfan on: May 05, 2013 12:29:22 PM
My grandson ( who is going on 29) loves TMNTs. For the last two birthdays, I have given him one character. First Michaelangelo and the next year Donatello. My wrist seem to be failing me so I decided to make sure he had all four turtles by this birthday. So here they are.

And here are the first two

This is a free pattern from Ravelry. I don't care for my ducks but it's done and now off it goes to Project Linus

I wish I had done a better job on this. It's a great pattern from Lucy Ravenscar.

18  Reuseable lunch bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by magicfan on: March 17, 2013 12:39:54 PM
My daughter asked me to make her a lunch bag for work, not too big and make it simple. This is what I came up with. It is lined with Insul-brite and canvas. It measures 8 3/4 by 8 1/2.

Here is my Magic Ball Afghan. I like the unfinished look of the tied yarns.
