1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Birthday Card *Must See!* on: October 20, 2005 04:21:10 PM
I guess this is kind of cheating since I didnt' make this myself...but it was TOO cute to not show.  My sister lives in Boston and my mom's birthday is this Saturday so she send over a box of chocolates and this ADORABLE card.  (She's a huge fan of Snoopy)  I wish I made this myself!

Incase you can't see, it says, "I sent my best pilot for this special occasion" and on the little arrow, "Pull gently"

She drew everything herself and it's all attached with thread.  Hope it inspires you!
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / CD Journal on: October 19, 2005 07:40:41 PM
I'm a regular Craftster window shopper and I often make my own crafts but it wasn't until my little experiment today that I decided to post something--partially because I'm looking forward to your feedback so I can improve it the next time I attempt this.

Just last week I decided to try my hand at journal making since you all at Craftster make it look so easy!  So I made a few journals using some pretty colorful paper as the cover and postcards that I bought and never used.  I was so bored today and looking around my computer and saw all the CD covers just laying around and since this is an experiment, I used one that was a bit scratched up so I wouldn't miss it so much.  I thought it would be nifty if I made a journal out of it and I do realize that it would be hard to write in it...but I figure it can double as a scrap book or something.  So if I can figure this out, here's my first attempt at a CD journal!

Here's the Postcard Journal I made:

Hope you like it!
