1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Cute embellished Jordy Bag(Oh dear, the piccies...) on: June 15, 2009 04:34:36 PM
Yeah, so if you cannot tell, I LOVE this fabric. I made this for a friends birthday, also made a "girl product" baggie and a matching hair bow! (The latter two not pictured.)

HERE IS THE BARRAGE OF PICUTRES!

This be the purse!!!!

The embellishing bow, I made the button.

This be the purse's backside.... BOOTY ROCKIN!

Inside, it has a little pockety goodness, and a magnetic clip.

I think I am getting waaaaaay better. What do yall think?!

Cuz I really wanna know!

Truly I do!

Word.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Bag that Loved to Torture Me.... on: June 02, 2009 09:11:34 PM
Soooo, I am quite literally a baby to sewing, just got a sewing machine for Christmas, just starting using it within a few months from now, and straight lines=death to Leslie as we know it. Anyways, pretty much stalked all you genius people on here in awe and jealous rage, not content with my squiggly attempts at what you people do. (No one I know has even heard of a sewing machine... weirdos.)I get to teach myself. So, after a terrible but much appreciated attempt at this purse --> http://lolaagain.blogspot.com/2008/01/jenny-bag-purse-tutorial.html for my mother in law, my sister in law asked me to make a brown purse, anyway, for her. So... here it is! I chose outdoor canvas, because its tough and can take a beating, kinda gave me a beating though. Well, here are the pictures!

The initial purse.

yep, its a pocket, same on the other side.

And thats the inside, full of pockets, cuz thats how I roll.

Completely silly looking, because the straps are crooked. But, she'll pretend to like it just the same. Anyways, Hopefully I will get to be as good as you are. Any questions or comments are completely welcome, and thank you for checking things out!
