5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Four Seasons Tree of Life Pendant (and a turquoise one!) on: May 27, 2009 10:26:52 PM
I can't stop making them.  I have a problem.  They're on 2 in x 2 in rings with 24 gauge silver wire.

I really love the four seasons pendant.  It's amethyst, aventurine, tiger eye, and jasper to represent Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.

And this one is turquoise:

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Tree of Life Pendants (my first!) on: May 27, 2009 10:15:52 AM
I've hopped on the Tree of Life train....I think they are my new favorite things.  These are all done on 2 in x 2 in rings that I found at the craft store with 24 gauge wire.

Aventurine Tree of Life (good luck)
My 3rd pendant.

Aventurine Tree of Life (good luck)
Modeled for scale.

Jasper Tree of Life (harmony)
This is the first pendant I made.  I think I like them better with six branches instead of eight and I was still figuring out how to do the branches, so I tore this one apart instead of finishing it.

Hematite Tree of Life (protection)
My 2nd pendant.

Amethyst Tree of Life (love)
My 4th pendant.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Button Bracelets on: May 13, 2009 08:23:04 PM
Here is my take on the button bracelets!  The first bracelet is an assortment of pink and purple buttons and the second bracelet is made from mother of pearl buttons.

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Steampunk Earrings on: May 11, 2009 02:48:47 PM
I recently discovered Steampunk jewelry right around the time that I came across a bunch of old wind up watches.  So I grabbed my screwdrivers, my boyfriend, my watches, and tore them all apart.  Here are six pairs of earrings that I made last night, I will definitely have more to come and I already started on some necklaces.  Grin  My mom chose the butterfly earrings and the little boy and girl kissing for her Mother's Day present.

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crocheted Thread Necklaces with Beads & Buttons (First Post!!) (Pic Heavy?) on: March 13, 2009 05:05:38 PM
Hey everyone!  I'm new here, but I've been lurking for awhile.  I finally decided to sign up today and show you all what I've been working on...crocheted thread necklaces!  I didn't use a pattern for any of these necklaces, I just sort of winged it using single and double crochet.  If anyone wants me to explain how I made them, I would be happy to, just ask!  Other than that, if anyone wants to purchase any of these necklaces, please contact me (I hope that is allowed).
