1  Tiny Leather Pouch Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by kinipayla on: February 10, 2013 04:42:46 PM
Here is the tiny pouch necklace that I made for hgddm for the Jar of Whimsies rd 10 swap.  All in all, it is about 1.25 inches by 1.25 inches big.  It is made of hand-stitched blue leather that I painted with bronze paint and I added a black pearl button for a closure.  I hope you enjoy it!

A little teddy bear that I felted for my fiance for his birthday.  He is about 4 inches long.  Isn't he cute?

3  Craft Porcelain Ornament in Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects by kinipayla on: February 10, 2013 03:27:45 PM
This is my first venture into clay in a very long time.  Since one of my specialties is paper cutting, I decided that I would use the same technique to do a Victorian-inspired piece.  The purple is just the box that I shipped it in.  I hope that you enjoy it.

Here are some pics of the awesome package hgddm sent me!

First, the crafted whimsies!  A pair of bow earrings to go with my archery obsession and a tiny holy hand grenade pendant!

And the piece du resistance - a leather steampunk cuff!

These are the other whimsies that the wonderful hgddm sent:

My favorites from this group are the coppery coin earrings, the small brown monkey, the Chinese good luck charms and the moon pendants.

I just love the bell belt!  Its just perfect for my belly dancing costumes!  I also love the little pepper shaker!

Thank you very much hgddm!

5  Re: Halloween altoids tin swap GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by kinipayla on: October 19, 2009 02:23:01 PM
I received last week from laughsforfree but have not posted my pics yet, since I had trouble with the fuzzyness of them.  Oh well. If laughsforfree has better pictures I invite her to post them since mine turned out bad and did her lovely project no justice.

The outside of the tin.

These are of the inside of the tin.

And this is of what was inside the tin.

My favorite things that were inside the tin are the bat and owl wood cutouts.  I took one look at the bat and thought, "1,2,3 go batty, batty, batty, batty."  I hope that someone actually gets this reference.

Thanks laughsforfree for the lovely tin!

6  Paper cuttings (img heavy) in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by kinipayla on: October 01, 2009 09:02:24 AM
Hi this is my first time posting any of my work here on Craftster.

I made these cuttings about 2 years ago so please forgive me for forgetting the source of two of the patterns.  If it is really important I can do the research and find out where they came from.  Without further ado, here they are:

These are from the book Papercutting: Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Learning the Craft by Claudia Hopf

Again I do not know the source of these patterns.

I hope you enjoyed!

So as I promised Automaton J., I'm posting the photos I have of the wonderful whimsies she sent me!

First, all of it together
I love the killer rabbit embroidery.

I also got a bart the gnome!

We have already become good friends!

All of the whimsies together:

I think she covered all of the major things I wanted.
Everything was great but if I had to choose favorites:

Thanks so much Automaton J.!!!!!
