First of all I'd like to apologise for the extremely large photos, it's a bit too early in the morning for me to faff around adjusting them.
I made this dress for my boyfriends graduation in London, I spent months looking for something to wear but as I never seem to be the right scale for RTW dresses I decided to make my own. This was my first attempt at using a sewing pile of flesh and I'd like to thank everyone on Crafster who's already made this for inspiring me to try it. It may be hard to tell but the top is view D and the waist band matches the halter straps. In general I'm very happy with how it turned out although I did have major issues with the sizing resulting in me having to take all the seams in by about an inch! I've worn this to a wedding as well and it's worked really well, it feels quite dressy but is also dead comfy.
This was my second attempt, using view B and heavily influenced by dorkgrl26's version http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=244358.0
, I saw the fabric in a grave and knew I had to make this. The bias tape isn't perfect but I can live with it, and I eat this dress so much I'm almost constantly wearing it. The only problem is the the poplin is quite cheap and is already fading a bit, I guess I'll just have to go buy up the rest of the bolt.
