1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / need help with had size change or new pattern for this hat on: October 15, 2010 11:35:38 AM
Hello everyone i really want to make this hat http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/swirls-cap but it needs to be in a size 2 for a toddler and that hat is meant for an adult, can someone please help me eather find a pattern like that but in the right size? or help me figure out how to make that hat smaller? thanks in advance. it's for a boy by the way so it doesnt' have to be exactly like that, but i like that it has the strap along the front of it.

hi everyone i'm new to knitting, i know how to crochet but mostly make my own stuff and don't use a pattern. so recently i've decited it would be nice to learn to knit. so i'm started a retelivly easy pattern for "two needle mittens" the only probablem is that in a couple of parts of the patterns it says " work even in SS untill piece measures..........." I can't figure out what that means, I"m thinking it stands for Single Stitch? when i looked up knitting abreaviations all i can find is slipped stitch, but that doesn't make sence to me, eather i don't clearly know what a slipped stitch is or...................HuhHuhHuh? I just don't know if someone could please help me out that would be sooo great. i would really apreashiate it. here is the link to the pattern i'm using if that helps anyone in figuring out how to help me lol. thanks again to anyone who replys. http://www.allfreecrafts.com/knitting/two-needle-mitts.shtml

hey everyone i haven't posted anything in a long time now, but lately the girls i babysit have been doing nothing but fight over the barbies and the clothes that they like. (we don't have many that are nice) so i thought that mabey if we had more than they wouldn't fight so much, or at least it would be less lol. so i made three dresses so far,

the pink one i made for the three and a half year old, (almost 4 lol)

the green and black one i made for the 11 year old,

and the black and white one is for all of them but today it's the 11 year old's best friend that is playing with it Smiley
