I can never remember what this quote is from, but my fiance says it all the time. Soooo, for his birthday, I stitched him a blimp. Just have to finish the back off, but I'm quite proud of it!
One of my closest friends will be having her first child in January and I'd like to put together a basket of things for her stay in the hospital. I know I've seen kits that fellow craftsters have put together, but for the life of me can not find them. Since I haven't had a baby, and this is my first close friend to have a child, I have absolutely no idea what kind of things a woman would want/have time to do while in the hospital. HELP!!!
I made one for my guy for this past Christmas (he teared up, I'm quite proud of myself ). I gave each card a layer of the matte Modge Podge after I finished decorating it. Probably not necessary, but I like the way it looks and it helps keep the glitter on the couple cards I put it on.
I love this! We have a seven month old kitten who LOVES anything paper (she sits on top of the printer to watch the sheets shoot out). We had to hide the TP and tissues in the medicine cabinet, which as you can imagine was a pain. But we just recently tried to flip the roll so she couldn't unravel it by rolling it to the floor (does that make sense?) and it seems to have worked. Now if only I can figure out a way to make her stop shredding my curtains and climbing the mouldings of every door in the house...
I'm sure they'll be a hit! i just made tie-dye cupcakes for my niece's birthday, I was a little nervous that since she's just turning four and hitting her "I don't wanna eat that" stage that they wouldn't go over well, but she loved them! PHEW
