1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Revolution on: October 10, 2009 10:30:03 AM
Thanks so much!  It was a super easy piece.  I just took the art, graphed it in photoshop and went to town.  The only one colour made it easier as not much counting was involved LOL

Everytime I see this poster it talks to me, so I had to stitch it!  It's done on 14 point black with white floss.  It still needs to be dry cleaned and starched so please forgive and small spots from my hands....

Thanks for looking!  Now to attempt a giant 8 x 10 multi colour while preparing for xmas craft shows LOL  who needs sleep when there is cross stitching to do!

I did the same thing with smoking and crochet!! CONGRATS!!!! It's so much better without the smokes  Grin

That strawberry is so cute I just barfed a rainbow colored unicorn.

Yah the non smoking is so much better!  I have a super sense of smell now LOL

Plus what I spend in cross stitch supplies is WAY less then what I was spending in smokes!

Use the strawberry but don't blame me when you go blind from red and cute!  LOL  I just used the original pic and placed a graph on top of it in photoshop but I will post the pattern for anyone who wants it.

I just matched my own colours on it, nothing to fancy really, but it took me almost 2 weeks to stitch it all up.  I had it dry cleaned because it got super wrinkly.  I am gonna find a fancy frame for it and matte it up nicely.  LOL I am proud of it.

Using friends quotes in stitches makes for super easy gifts too!!!!

Thanks all!
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: 16 hour owl bookmark :P on: April 20, 2009 11:49:42 AM
Holy Poop I love it!  I am so gonna have to snag the owl and make up something with it... my kitchen is all pink owls and these would be perfect!!!

I would be to sad to shut these guys in a book though!  LOL I would keep staring at them.
