1  Lolita blouse. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by irokoneko on: September 20, 2010 03:23:20 AM
This is my first blouse ever made.
I made this from a pattern by Burda.
But choose the wrong size, so it was too big.
I resized it, and now some things are in the wrong place.
But I think it is okay for a first time.

It fits very well with a jumperskirt over it (:

I got this fabric at a secondhand store.
And I still have loads of this fabric left (:

The button is antique (:
And the lace is hand made in a church.

3  Owl City Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by irokoneko on: March 05, 2010 12:09:15 PM
Ive wanted to make my own dress for a long time,
but i kinda suck at making the upperparts,
because i always make them too small.
But, i REALLY wanted it to work this time,
and it turned out pretty nice i must say myself.

I wore this dress at the Owl City show,
and i got some great compliments!

It has the original owl from Owl City on it,
i only changed the colors (:

The dress has super poofy sleeves,
a fitted body and a short, wide skirt.

The owl is made of vilt (which was hell to make)

I also wanted to ask, how is your petticoat finished at the waist?

i made a photo so you can see it (:
the fabric that was underneath it all covers the beginning from the tule. (hard to explain xD)
But, i hope you understand (:

7  Flower Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by irokoneko on: July 22, 2009 12:21:31 PM
Since i got so much fabric,
i made this little bag too.
Just for my wallet and my phone.

It was hell to make the inside,
because the zipper needed to be at the good place at the same time.
But i think it turned out well,
for my very first bag ^^

8  Black Petticoat And Skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by irokoneko on: July 22, 2009 12:16:58 PM
Elf Fantasy Fair Costume.
Well, its a part of it.

My friend and me have been busy with the petticoat for a loooooong time.
Like, 3 months?

It is 4 layers of tule,
and 1 layer of plain black fabric.
I wanted it to be veery big (:
(its not too big, cause i had not enough money xD)
And its kinda heavy too xD
First it was a bit too long,
now its okay.

It cost me more than 12 meters of tule.
And more than 100 meters of lace. (omg!)
I dont know exact, because it was about half a year back when i finised it.

The pink skirt is not much to talk about xD
It was very easy to make (:

Sorry for so much new topics xD
i just have made a lot these days...

And i found it a bit too boring.
So i sewed on some laces.
But now its kinda a disney dress.
I didnt intend to make something like that
but i still like how it turned out.

This is how it at first was, front and back were the same.

10  Sweet Flower Skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by irokoneko on: July 22, 2009 07:48:59 AM
I bought this first as a tablecloth.
but, i wanted to make it to a skirt,
it was hard, because it was a circle.
haha ^^

The bows are sadly a bit misplaced xD

Its still a little to big,
but okay. Its wearable.
