1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Do Not Use VISTA PRINT on: April 30, 2007 05:24:03 AM
As recommended by someone on this forum, I used Vista Print to get some business cards done.  Do NOT use this company.

While they do make great business cards (it's really a shame) they will sell your CC info to other companies and you will get charged for things you never bought.  Look them up on RipOffReport.com and you'll see what I mean.

I urge everyone who has an account with them now to cancel and stop using their services.

I got charged $14.95 for something I never ever authorized.

4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / what does "press" mean? on: October 18, 2006 06:41:25 AM
I have a feeling this is the dumbest question ever asked on craftster.

Im guessing it means iron but I didn't know if there was a specific technique?  And its recommended to press seams once you've sewn, them, what does this do to them thats beneficial?

Basically, just tell me everything you know about "pressing".
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Tons of cards and stationery, picture heavy. on: October 13, 2006 06:39:46 AM
I made a bunch of these months ago.  I tend to go for simplicity, and it was my first time doing embossing, so I guess I went kind of crazy!

9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / card making glue? on: May 11, 2005 05:29:51 AM
I do a lot of book binding, and just got into card/stationary making.  Last night I made my first successful card, and I used PVA as the glue as its what I use for bookbinding when I glue paper.  Even though I pressed the card, it later bowed, had bubbles, and the paper kept cracking and I could just tell that the PVA was just too heavy a glue to use.

What is a good glue for gluing cardstock together that will not let the paper peel or anything like that?
