Ok, so this thread inspired me to dig out my Moms sewing machine.  After she passed away I vowed to learn to sew with it because its a really nice one!  Well, after an hour of figuring out how to thread it, I finally got to work sewing my pieces together.

I made a mistake with the lining, its inside out so all the stitching shows on the inside, but I use it as my scrap bag for fabric now though.  I need to remember to keep the good sides of the lining facing the good side of the bag when I sew them together.



Im working on a tote for myself right now.  I love this tutorial! 

I did this to match one of my work outfits.  It was a lot of fun   Took about 3 hours.
