* This is my first ever post (yay!) and I had no idea where to put this so feel free to move it, I guess  

Anyways, this cable/cord totally bugged me. Just hanging there with his ugliness. I tried cleaning it but it just... wouldn't.

It's the cable/cord of the multi-plug where I have the TV, DVR, DVD blahblahblah.... it hangs from a shelf in the wall about two feet down to where it disappears behind my huge dresser.

The first thing I came up with was to wrap it with some ribbon. I chose one that matched with this pretty box (that box will be my second post here, yay!!)



But I didn't like how it turned out. To me, it looked weird. So... here comes idea #2. And you can see the ugly thing here...



I bought this fabric to use as curtains for my door-less closet. I wanted something heavy and thick so it's great. But I still have a looooot of it. So I grabbed some from that huge pile of leftovers.

I cut it into strips like this:



Hopefully you can cut better than me. I cannot cut in a straight line to save my life. It's a problem  



A simple knot was all it needed (I twisted it so the knot would be facing the wall). I don't know how many strips, though... a lot, I guess  



I like how it turned out. I think it sort of looks like the really long tail of a monster... a cute fluffly monster, perhaps? Or some kind of blue vine? It's cute.
I don't know if anybody on here had done anything like this but anyways, thanks for looking!!!
