Brilliant using the bundt cake for his burrow!

Thing #1!  Yea!

Saw this idea somewhere on the internets.  Two paper doilies, decorated with gel pen, stitched together by machine, with candy inside.  I did these for some of my friends.  They're supposed to easily rip open.

Now if I understood correctly, post each 'thing' on this thread as it gets made.  But also add to my 'list' earlier in the thread where I joined in.  Right?

Also, each thing should take only about 30 minutes. It could be a little less or a little longer but it was meant to be something everyone could do every day without taking up a lot of time.

cmouse01, I think they are supposed to be tiny things!  That's part of the reason I'm doing it!

I'm going to give it a try!  Gathering ideas now.  My posting on the weekends will be pretty shabby.  And I'll eventually figure out the method of posting with the lists.  But it'll be fun.

Thanks WileESongdog for setting this up!

Quick questions.  Is it important to post each day?  Or, if you're still making something each day but you have trouble getting to the computer on one day, can you post both your things the next day?  And I assume a photo should be included for each day?

Still loving these!  Where do you get so many little zippers?  Do you get 7" and just cut them down?  I've never seen shorter ones.  For the fraying brocade (yum, brocade!), I'd fuse a very lightweight interfacing to the back.  But that might add too much bulk.  Try it and see.

That is super cool.  At first I thought "lace up stomach" was some kind of typo.  It's brilliant.  And then I looked up the Ishiguro book.  Pretty intense.  And then I started to wonder just which organs can be donated....
It's been a long while since a craftster project made me think so much.
