Wow ActsofCraftiness, those are amazing baby sets!

kbrison, they are super fast to do on the sewing machine.  Set it for the longest straight stitch, and away you go!  I did them in a long chain and cut them apart after.  You just have to make sure to leave a long enough tail at the top so you can tape them to the ceiling.  Here's the finished product.  I love how they gently turn whenever the heater is blowing.

#6  On Saturday I tried making a strawberry bag.  I've had the post here on craftster bookmarked for too long.  But I used the wrong fabrics, and it didn't turn out so well.  Of course, I'm going to share a picture that looks deceptively good.  I may call this a learning experience and have another go, another time.  berry bag post

#7  I finally tried the pattern for a tiny white totoro. So cute!  I don't even mind that I didn't have the right size of eyes.

#8  Then today I went and got smaller eyes and made another!  No, this color isn't standard, but I may just end up making a rainbow of tiny totoro.  (And it's good for using those small balls of yarn.) pattern on craftster

Here's my thing from yesterday.  Some with satin bits, some with fancy stitches that just ended up tearing the paper, and some a little more 3D.

The weekend is going to be tricky for me.  I probably won't post again until Mon, but I'll keep crafting things.

kbrison, you've been busy!

I made more paper heart strings today.  Post pictures tomorrow.

So many fun things!  The soup, crochet squares (so many ends!), tiny pincushions, and cute robots!

#4  Last year I made strings of paper hearts for Valentine decorations, which I hang from the ceiling.  Today I used some leftover satin to make a few more, with some extra flash.  Now I just need to get them hung up.

I'm really liking the wings on these.  They'd be good for camouflage on such a tiny dragon.  They look so smooth and flat for polymer-- good job!

AIMR -- The organza was a spool of ribbon, so the edges were already finished, and I melted the cut ends.  Otherwise I would've gone crazy.

I am not a stitcher or paper-crafter, so I admire all you craftsters who are.  You guys have made some great stuff.

#3  The introductory description said our 'thing' could be organizational.  I'm going with that today.  I sorted through piles of pencils, crayons, erasers, and colored pencils.  And these are what's going to a homeless shelter or women's crisis center.  (And I'm still keeping more than I probably should!)

Thing #2

6 organza ribbon flowers.  These will be part of a bigger project.  I'm not sure if starting them on the machine actually made them any faster, because I still had to finish them by hand.  (Here they're sitting on my sketch.)

Brilliant using the bundt cake for his burrow!

Thing #1!  Yea!

Saw this idea somewhere on the internets.  Two paper doilies, decorated with gel pen, stitched together by machine, with candy inside.  I did these for some of my friends.  They're supposed to easily rip open.

Now if I understood correctly, post each 'thing' on this thread as it gets made.  But also add to my 'list' earlier in the thread where I joined in.  Right?

Also, each thing should take only about 30 minutes. It could be a little less or a little longer but it was meant to be something everyone could do every day without taking up a lot of time.

cmouse01, I think they are supposed to be tiny things!  That's part of the reason I'm doing it!
