I just got my mom a print gooco for her birthday and yesterday we finally got around to trying to use it to make our holiday cards.  Everything was going great until we went to flash the image onto the screen.  The  bulbs wouldn't go off.  We tried all of the trouble shooting tips from the manual but none of it seemed to work.  Does anyone have any tips that could help us figure out how to make the bulbs go off or could someone perhaps tell us what we are doing wrong? Thanks!

This stuff is so awesome!  I can't wait to show my friends.  They are going to be so jealous!  I can't wait to see what everyone else gets too and I hope that everyone is as happy as me so that we can have a part 2! 

So I have working on Knitty's Mariposa for a while when I ran into a part that I'm really confused by.  The pattern says for the short row bust darts:

If desired, work short-row bust darts as follows:
Row 1: Work to last 2 sts, w&t.
Row 2: Work to last 2 sts, w&t
Row 3: Work to 2 sts before previous wrap; w&t.
Repeat Row 3 until required number of short rows (including Rows 1 & 2) have been worked.

How exactly would I do this?   

I was thinking that with the movie coming out soon that it would be a good time to organize a swap based on the musical Rent.  I would organize sign ups some time in October and the send out could be in November just in time for the movie.  Just think of the cool crafts that could be created too! (Mark scarfs, candles, things with the "Rent" logo, etc.)  Anyone else interested?

With summer over, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a swap centered around the Warped tour and the bands that play the tour and have played the tour in the past (Rancid, MCR, Matches, Tsunami Bomb, etc.)  Crafts could be a guide on how to survive it, t-shirts featuring bands or the Warped tour logo, etc. If anyone would be interested, sign ups wouldn't begin until mid October, but I think it could be really fun.

Hopefully everyone still wants to do this...

I was wondering if there would be any interest in doing a swap with crafts based around The Smiths, Morrissey, The Cure, and/or Joy Division.  I have some stuff in mind that I would love to make for someone and I'm sure others here have some great ideas too.  i would love to organize this (in September or October) if there is enough interest.

Hey, I was wondering if someone could type up the powerful wrist protection pattern for the star one (in size medium) for me.  I don't need the chart because I am using a different chart.  I was really dumb and I left my book at home.  I won't be home for three weeks, and I need the pattern now since I am in the middle of making one.  Thanks for the help!

I just started knitting the yo drop it scarf and I am really confused.  In row 2 of the stitch pattern, it says:
*K1, drop the yo by slipping it off of the needle; rep from *to last st, k1.  How do I do this step? Thanks for the help!
