My boyfriend got suspicious when he caught me blushing staring at my laptop. I quickly eased his mind, "I got invited to swap!!!" I am stoked to be kwality570's partner. This is such an exciting swap.

And now with these compliments I am blushing again. Thanks guys. 

BAH, I've been so busy. I meant to get pictures up earlier than this. Well, SonjaBoo sent me an adorable matchbox. She really nailed my style. So, onward with some pics of the greatness!


So, she crafted me a little hot air balloon. Everything was a combination of my themes. It was vintage and weird and whimsical. I think the technique she used was very creative. My boyfriend was confused when he saw it from the front. He's like, "That's not a matchbox...".


This is the backside. It's a matchbox after all. I love the polka dots. So classy.


Did I mention it hangs? Action shot! It fits so well in my room.

Oh wow, the unicorn one, the flying standing pig, and the steampunk one are all just so cool. I am getting ideas for the next matchbook swap.

OMG, I thought I was losing my mind. Well done. 

I have a very cool matchbox to add to the bunch. It's from Avesthel. She did thorough stalking and superb crafting. Onwards with the photos of the greatness:


So, my theme was "The Weird & Strange & Bizarre & Odd". This was how it looked when I first opened it. I attempted to re-pack it at one point and failed. She crammed so much inside!




SO, she altered an old cabinet photo to suit my adoration for The Straaaange. The lady has antlers with Easter eggs dangling on them!!! She also has matchstick legs. And it's all painted a mustardy yellow- my favorite.


The contents were very thoughtful. She took ideas and inspiration from my pinterest and my etsy faves. Included were bobby pins and buttons to make button hair accessories. Beads and sequins. A button with a deer in it! And this is just half of it...


She also made me leaf earrings (That I wore today for Easter. They went perfect with my bunny ears!) And an extra leaf to make myself a pendant or ring. I also got a unique charm and a peace sign charm. A weird little stamp.

It was all just so wonderful. I loved it. I can only hope she'll like mine just as much!

I love all the little things that get crammed inside, like the circus animal beads, the tiny dice, and the all the little silver charms in the Alice in Wonderland box. Well done everyone! I am so excited to see more and then receive my own!!!

One matchbox is finished and I am halfway through working on the second. Unfortunately a twelve page paper and presentation have become my first priority this week. I will not send out late, but I certainly will be working on them until the last minute. Oh boy. 

I received my last February ATC as well. I'm a little delayed putting it up, but as the saying goes, "you save the best for last". Toralune claimed me for my Animals Wearing Crazy Hats theme. It's just the cutest and I will certainly have to hide it from my younger sister who is a penguin fanatic.

Life has kept me from really cracking down and getting any solid crafting done. But now with the house clean and the entire day off, I surely have all the time I need to craft my heart out.
