1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitting for the Grandkids on: July 06, 2011 04:44:21 AM
I have been busy knitting away for the grandkids. It's been great fun. So far I have a sweater and 3 soakers done. Working on some more projects that I'll be sharing in the coming weeks.

Sweater for the Granddaughter. Just need to find the right button for the top.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / 2 Sweaters and a Soaker on: May 23, 2011 03:13:32 PM
So I started to knit this for my Granddaughter only to find out after it was done she dosne't like the feel of wool. Oh well these things happen. I'll be gifting it to a very lucky little girl instead.

This one I started for my Honorary Grandson. Sadly he hit a growth spurt before it was done and it now won't fit him. Good thing my daughter has a friend with a little one who it will fit.

The soaker is made for a friend of my daughter's who cloth diapers. He little man is fairly large and she's having a hard time finding things to fit him. This is big enough!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Squirrel Car on: February 13, 2011 06:02:24 AM
So my daughter got me the book kintting Mochimochi for Christmas. She promtely lost the book when the grandkids took off with it to read. The then tidied up by putting it on the shelf. See as the kids are 3 and 5 to have tidied it up was a huge step. Any how the book was refound, wrapped and put under the tree. Upon opening it my grandson informed me that he wanted the squirrel car and how fast could I get it done. So it was off to my daughters yarn stash to have him pick out the colors. After a few wks of starting and stopping, work so gets in the way of crafting here is the squirrel car!
