2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / The Craftster Guide to Nifty, Thrifty, and Kitschy Crafts / Fabric Bow on: February 03, 2010 03:05:29 PM
Gosh that sounds so rubbish, but never mind.  I love flowers, but they are everywhere.  I do love them as embellishments but I love bows too.  Here's one I made from scraps.

If you would like to see a tutorial for this, I have one that is blogged.  It is mainly pictures with few words.  You will find it here: www.scrapsville.blo gspot.com

I think these bows make tidy adornments for head wear, wrist wear, bag wear etc.  They can be made from scrap or recylcled fabrics embellished with all manner of things from beads, to buttons and lace.  What would you add?  Hope you like.  Tell me how you would use one.  I am  sure there are lots of ideas out there.
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / English purse (for coins) on: May 28, 2009 01:17:04 PM

I do hope this is meant to go here.  I have never posted before.  This is my little pink purse, hope you like.  There is a little tale that goes with this purse which is short.  I went shopping.  I spent nearly all of my money, paying bills and buying some stash Smiley, I got off the bus and left my purse behind.  There endeth not the story.  A very kind gentleman found it and handed it in.  I was so thrilled it was full of cards etc, but when I got it back it smelled of cigarettes.  Hence the new one.  I am really grateful to the kind soul who handed it in for me, but I can't get the smell out of my old purse so I thought it was time for change.  My old purse was sensible, grown up and boring.  This one is fun and funky.  Hope you like.

find my purse http://www.scrapsville.blogspot.com.  I don't have enough posts.
