1  Pom Pom Halloween Crafts in Halloween Decor and Parties by Craft Passion on: October 21, 2009 08:18:39 PM
I love carving a real pumpkin into Jack O' Lantern but I can't find it here, we only have Kabocha type which is green and the skin is too hard for the carving. I made pom pom instead.

And if you would like to see how I made it, I have step by step photo tutorials for it. I can't upload it here as I have 12 photos. Please visit http://www.craftpassion.com/2009/10/pom-pom-tutorial-spooky-halloween-jack-o-lantern.html only if you are interested.

Besides Pumpkin, I made a pom pom Black Widow Spider too and crochet a spider web for it.

Again, visit this link if you are interested in getting the tutorial. I have 9 step by step photos for it.

2  Triangle Fold Coaster Link to Tutorial in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Craft Passion on: September 21, 2009 09:24:23 PM
Recently I have been inspired by my granny's rug rag (something similar to this) http://www.craftpassion.com/2009/09/rag-rug-grannys-style.html and I came out with the tutorial of making it but in a smaller scale - a coaster http://www.craftpassion.com/2009/09/sewing-tutorial-triangle-fold-coaster.html, since I have not collected enough fabric to make a rug rag.

You can turn it to some Christmas tree ornaments, or some table decoration for this holy festive season. Some said that she wants to make it as Christmas gifts too.... The possibility is endless!

For me, I have turned it to something cute - "spiky" hedgehog purse http://www.craftpassion.com/2009/09/the-spiky-hedgehog-purse.html...

Hope you like it Smiley

Repeat this step layer by layer from outer to inner until you complete filling up the coaster as shown in the first photo.
and add a center piece to decorate the coaster more.
