On a whim I made this, with paint shop pro and a little smudge and color editing.

It's rough and blurry, and pixaly and I love it.

I really love the kaleidoscope one.

This was my first try at doll house miniatures.  I have made plenty of miniature things, but I think Doll house takes it to a whole new level.

A leather journal, letter, wax-sealed envelope, ink well and quill.  I only now noticed that the belt does not go through the buckle, and it is irking me to no end!

I tried to get a better photo of the ink well, but my camera refused.

I have ugly carpal tunnel braces, one for each wrist, made of mostly flesh tones ace bandage type material, velcro, and a strip of "leather".

I would like to dye them purple.

But I am not sure how this stretchy fabric, much like elastic but more clothy, would dye.  I don't expect the "leather" to dye, but I was wondering if any one knew how the rest might go?

My mother in law bought this for me at a yard sale.  It was pretty but a  bit to much to photograph jewelry on.   I needed something simple and classic.

After all the wonderful support on my first Rock pets, I tride my hand at some new, more exciting ones.  Excuse the weird yellow coloring, awful lighting in my room.

I got this neat rock looking polymer clay the other day and thought it would be neat to make "pet rocks".

Is it obvious that I am obsessed with Where the Wild Things Are?
Perhaps it is because I was to be named Max if I had a peter at birth.
But alas I did not, and now I am left obsessed with this child hood memory. Not to mention Alice in Wonderland, another obsession of mine.

But I digress, here are my latest charms.

I made these tonight.  I havn't glazed them. I'll post new pictures when they are finished, I just loved them so much I wanted to post them now!

Although, I am not too impressed with The Red Queen, or the Cheshire cat.  The Mad Hatter and the Caterpillar are my favorite.

I whipped this dress up in an hour using two quilt squares, some remnants, and one foot of elastic.  The whole thing cost about $3.50 and fits my 24-month sized One year old daughter.

I whipped up a little tute per request after offering.  It only consists of 8 pieces, two of which are linings, and 4 are strap pieces.  Great for novice sewers.




The best way I would go about measuring pieces for your dress is to take an existing dress and measure width and length.  Mark where the arm opening ends to give yourself a base to cut.  Trace half the dress, fold and cut so your piece is symmetrical.  Make sure to keep your shoulder straps at least an inch wide PLUS sewing allowance.  Oh, and the yellow on the Tute is the Elastic.  You'll need about 8-12 inches.

I absolutley love the Burlesque Swaps.  But, alas I missed them.  I took the opportunity to practice and make these bad boys.

On the first one I used a broken, cracked ceramic pendant I wore to senior prom.  A friend had given it to me my sophmor year, and it meant a lot to me.  I also used a plastic pearl necklace I had been wearing since junior high.

The second one I used a broken vintage piece from my recon stash.  Or should I say from my grandma's Antique booth junk pile. Which is mine for the picking.

I also used this big ornate pink feather duster I found brand new at a garage sale for 5 dollars. Talk about a super steal. Those feathers are expensive!

Both are sealed onto a head band, which is uncommon, but I think it makes them more secure.
