Details of swap:  Cephalopods! Octopi! Squid! Cuddlefish! There is nothing more creepy cute then a mushy ball of tentacles!  The crafting possibilities are endless! Paint them, sew them, knit them, crochet them, sculpt them, if you can craft, you can craft a cephalopod!  Oh, and lets not forget the cephelopods cute quazi-cousin, the Jelly Fish. I feel that he should be included, as he is also a cute little tentacle monster.

they really sparkle. I used sparkle clay, mixed with a translucent clay, and then a skin tone clay to give it that fleshy campire-peen look.

they're pretty small, fit on a nickel. I made them for an awesome woman who makes charm bracelets for Fanfiction writers. She saw some of my stuff on Twitter, and poof, I've been making sparkle peens.

They've become pretty popular, too.  It's crazy.

Look at that brain detail!

This was awesome, I hung it with all the family portraits along my stair case.  She also sent a really fricken sweet 8x10 picture of a two headed kitten that I hung in my kitchen!  I didn't get a photo of it before my camera died though.  Tomorrow!

Okay so every one should have there feed back, and I'm hoping for pictures to still be coming.  The camera I bought is a japanese-special. I don't know if any of you have ever bought anything from Japan of e-bay, but it comes on a boat. A very, very slow boat.  So there is no hope for me. But I did find these two pictures, of things I sent Helix.


this actually a massive chest-piece sort of necklace. It's about the size of my palm.

this one was pretty big too, a few inches long.  I made a mold out of this necklace, and made another button key for a little box I also sent. 

Sadly, that is all the photo's I have.  And I haven't been able to borrow a camera to take pictures of the package I received still.  I took some on my stupid camera phone but I can't find the cord to upload. Bagh. Stupid cord.

I know that moniqueramsey got her package a few days ago, so I thought I'd post pics of what I sent <3





It's a little polymer bird skull necklace. I sewed up a tan draw-string hex bag too.  It had a feather, and a lock of (doll) hair, and a little 'aged' piece of paper that said 'for safety' in calligraphy.

I had originally made a more realistic bird-skull, but it was really creepy.  So I re-did it.

My partner just received this from the One Tiny Supernatural Thing swap, so I wanted to post it.  I made a whole little hex bag with a feather, and a little lock of doll hair, and this.

After I sculpted and baked it, I painted the whole thing with a dark-chocolate colored brown paint and wiped it off with a baby wipe before it dried to give it that aged-dirty look.  When I sculpted it, I made sure to leave imperfections, scratches and holes for the paint to catch in. Then I baked it again, at a slightly lowed heat to give it sort of a brittle feel to it.  I think that the effect worked quite well.



It hangs on a leather cord.  Leather just seemed to suit it better then my normal charm chains.  I don't really thing a ball chain would do this justice.



This one I tried to keep bird-like but not to the point of gross/creepy.  I actually made one before this that was way more life like but it freaked my daughter out so I decided to make a less-creepy one.
