1  Re: Baby/Kid Stuff Swap (Round 3) in The Swap Gallery by heide on: June 09, 2006 04:15:47 AM
You're welcome, Betzi!  Here's a pic I took of the stuffies I made for your wee ones (I forget to take pix of the onesie and the little craft apron):

And here's the great stuff I got from Betzi!

I'm having my first baby later this summer, a little girl who will be named Delma Elizabeth.  Betzi made her  some adorbale knitted booties, and super-cool onesie, a beautiful crocheted blanket, and some amazing baby announcement cards!  Thank you, Betzi!!!

oooh oooh oooh i just got my package from Heidi today!  its so great!  She sent the most amazing knitted stuffies--a bear for Sebastian (with a cute orange and green sweater with an S on it!) and an eggplant rattle for miss Eva!  they are soooooo cute!  she is a very talented knitter!  heidi i just love them, and so will my kiddos.  miss Eva is napping right now, and Sebastian is at grandmas house, but i know they will loooooove their stuff!

She also sent Eva a little onesie that says "mama is blogging this" and a really cute apron caddy for Sebastian, with Dora on it (omg he will flip when he sees it!).  its a great apron too, the half kind with lots of pockets.  it is perfect for him because he loves doing crafts with me, and will dig putting his "tools" into those pockets!

by the way, it came just in time for his birthday!  how cool!

Thanks soooooo much Heidi!  I will post pics as soon as DH returns the camera (he frequently uses it at work).  it could be a day or two, so if you have pics already, feel free to post em!

I got my big package from beadgirl the day after Christmas, so the more festive jewely will have to wait til next year to be worn -- that's OK, though, I can wait!  Smiley  She also sent lots of great little goodies, like bath stuff, a note pad, cute tree-shaped playing cards, and a cute little bag with lip glosses and nail polishes.  Thanks again, beadgirl!

all the loot:

a close-up of the fun jewely -- check out all the kajillions of little light-bulb beads!

I got a package from beadgirl yesterday.  She sent me 2 packages But I've only received one so far, so I'm not sure if this was the official "open on Christmas" one or the other??  Anyway, it was great!  Lots of little candy treats, and these 2 beautiful bracelets:

Thanks, beadgirl!!! Grin

I was in Germany last week and came home to all three of my bookmarks!

They're from (l to r) Yamwam, classycrafter, and Lv2ScrpBk.  I love them -- thanks, ladies!!!

Mine are in the mail now.  But I'm a bit confused...  Yamwam, you posted that you received from all 3 of your givers, but I'm sending to you too??

I got my ipod cozies today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the colors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks a bunch, please post the pix so everyone can see them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here they are!

The first one is felted, and this project was my first attempt to ever felt anything.  I made a test one first that was too big, then I made this one and the size came out pretty well.  It probably should have gone through another wash, you can still see the stitches a bit.  Oh well!  I'm glad you like them, mcfly!  This was my first swap and it was really fun -- thanks!!!

I got my cozies yesterday from mcfly -- Thanks!!!!

She really paid attention to what colors I said I liked, and they both came out fantastic:

This little guy is brown and light blue:

And this guy is white, with the contrasting thread for seaming in a cool pink/orange/red combo:
