Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I really liked making it, but I think I will hold off on trying another one But I do have an idea for an animal book in a similar style.

I made this book for my niece, it was her first Christmas this year!
I started out with an idea to make a multi-textured, bright, and soft book for her... I then decided on Christmas themed because all of the Christmas fabric was on sale at my craft shop
I designed it myself, and did not have any patterns, I just sort of made it up as I went along (I did you some clip art for inspiration, the reindeer for one).
Each page has at least a few different textures, some have things you can pull at, jingle, crinkle, and of course soft fluffy things. Then I put thin batting and plain green as the other part of the pages.
This took sooooo much longer than I planned, but it was worth it.
The final product was about 8x11 and 4 inches thick

Thanks! I plan to make more, and if I do, I will post the patterns. I didn't think about writing the pattern for Mr. Greedy - there was so much trial and error along the way.

Thanks! The stem is a bit wonky, but the flower turned out nicely, and I figure once its on the baby's head, the stem's wonkiness won't be noticeable.

Yay!
I made this for my BF's brother for his birthday.
I am super proud of it because it was my first project that was completely my own pattern. I usually modify patterns, but for this guy I had to make it all up.
Now, everyone wants one- but a different Mr. Men or Little Miss of course. So I guess I know what my next few projects will be.
His eyes and mouth were the only hard bit- the pinky/purple yearn was really tough to stitch through - suggestions anyone?

What in the world is hide the mouse??? I am intrigued! I love games that the fam or kids can play at Xmas.
