hey, really great job but you forgot the left side of his left leg that pokes out from the arm!!

other than that, it's a really pro job.
especially the cutting around the flowers to get the building out
2  CANADA / Ontario / Re: Potential Craftster Meetup in Toronto! on: March 20, 2009 02:05:07 PM
ohhh.
i'm so in!

anyone at OCAD or something? i bet you could easily reserve a room for a couple hours. then we could all go play in grange park or something.
*shrug*

i dont know where a good space would be otherwise, but it would be a LOT of fun for a meetup.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: photoshoot with my designs awesome pics! on: March 10, 2009 12:27:22 PM
ohhh very nice.
i love the fluffiness of the skirt.
i like the whole outfit though i wouldn't wear it with the belt/corset type thing.

but that's just my unstylish opinion.
Smiley

i really like it.
that skirt is so froooothy.
4  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: How about a little Island Grillin? Jerk Chicken, Rice and Beans, Braised Ka on: March 10, 2009 08:18:27 AM
i thought you arranged the plate to look like a sacred heart when i clicked on the little graphic for this thread!
 Smiley

i'm not one for chicken, tho it does look tasty.
but kale is soooo yummy.

i remember growing up my mom used to stir kale into mashed potatoes and she would sometimes cut up sausages to go in it as well. and for some reason we all put vinegar on top of it.

sounds weird in retrospect, but i remember it being very tasty.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ribcage Vest with lace on: March 08, 2009 05:02:20 PM
The vest looks hot on you!
Perfect fit.
I don't know if i'd notice that it was ribs right away, it sort of just looks like a warped stripe-y graphic to me, but personally i prefer that as the ribcage shirts are overdone.

i am also seriously in love with the pink shirt on your mannequin.
Did you make it? It looks hand drawn.
6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Carebears and Carrots on: March 07, 2009 12:47:48 PM
oooohhh the carebears.

"who's that comin' from somewhere out in the skyyyyyyyy?
movin' fast and bright as a fireflyyyyyyy?.."

damn, that's gonna be in my head all day now.
heh.
i've never heard of GIMP, what is it?
otherwise, very cute, and i dig the pastel soft colours.

really cute, love the crochet on them. and the colours are great too.

I recognised the Bode influence instantly, especially in your cat's feet! Cheesy They're great! *wanders off to read Deadbone again* Cheesy

ahh they're just timeless.
i love, love, love how he goes back and uses white ink for highlights, or to illustrate an action (such as walking) or to show depth in his scenery.

my bf and i are slowly working on expanding our bode collection.
but he got me deadbone for my birthday!!!
