11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: A bunch of Harry Potter scarves (photo chubby) on: August 24, 2011 01:31:03 PM
I'm a Slytherin and no ones asked me to make a Hufflepuff one. Sad The big ones take me like a month. I wish I could spell my needles to knit like Molly's

Funnily none of these are mine. I haven't yet completed one for myself. I learned how to knit to make myself a scarf and I haven't finished one for myself yet.
12  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / A bunch of Harry Potter scarves (photo chubby) on: August 24, 2011 11:55:30 AM
I've been making these for a while.... over the past year I've made these plus more as commissions.... I just haven't got pictures of them all.

So yeah... here they all are.

13  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Standard Book of Spells Grade 3 hollow book on: August 24, 2011 11:33:40 AM
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this or not but as it was a paper box that's covered in paper.... I figured it was a good place to start.... please feel free to move it if it's not in the right place.

I made this for part of a swap and I'm dying to make one for myself but I wanted to kick myself for all the tiny painting along the spine so I may not.

I'm thinking of maybe making some up to sell but I don't know if there'd be an interest in them so any opinion on that is welcome as well as any other input. Cheesy

14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Wedding Hankie/Baby Bonnet Gift Set on: August 19, 2011 03:05:46 PM
It's a lovely, thoughtful, creative gift and I'm sorry that the bride to be was too hammered to understand the significance of your gift while she was smashed.

I'm saving this for a friend who is planning of getting married soon. I know that they aren't planning any children (health reasons) but the sentiment is still the same.

Your research as well as finding her such a perfect vintage hankie was amazing and I hope that some day she can fully appreciate the work you put into this.

The dress is lovely, but the fabric makes it.
17  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Decked Out for Deathly Hallows Part II GALLERY! on: July 10, 2011 04:11:30 PM
Everything is simply amazing. Truly, I'm having a hard time picking favorites. The hard work that's gone into everyone's packages and the ingenuity of the games.

I'm going back to the beginning since I've been kind of off the net in the middle of our move right now...

amor_fati - The steampunk Gryff necklace and owl are beautiful.

MizzKodak - I love the market tote and the Gryff mug.

GoldfishGirl - The arm warmers are brilliant and the stamped necklace so clever. Wink

nostephot - All of the painted shirts... the bag (I totally have that London fabric and now have a new use for it) :O

ZombriNation - The dead Cedric plushie, lol... seriously.

Cherry_Blossom55 - The puff badge is some amazing embroidery... makes me want to tackle one myself. The cards are incredible and the folding box is simply impressive.

birdak - I'm totally stealing that pillow idea for my office. As a matter of fact, if it weren't for the fact that everything is Ravenclaw themed instead of Slytherin, well I'd want it all. Cheesy

18  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Decked Out for Deathly Hallows Part II GALLERY! on: July 05, 2011 07:12:15 PM
I came home from a rather long day to find my lovely package, which I wasn't expecting until tomorrow. Thank you KraftyKT for everything and I'm thrilled that you liked your package. Cheesy

Sorry for the less than stellar photos, we're in the middle of moving so lots of things are everywhere and the only place I can get internet to post is the old house... ugh I hate moving.

I hate that I flipped these around on photobucket but they apparently flipped back. *sigh*

20  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Decked Out for Deathly Hallows Part II (Signups CLOSED; Sendouts 7/1) on: July 01, 2011 07:33:03 AM
I know I've already posted but I just needed to get this off of my chest...I'm having a really hard time letting one of the items I made go. It's beyond normal the attachment I've developed to it in such a short time. But at least I know it'll go to someone who appreciates it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who did the *put it in the box* "sigh" *take it back out of the box* "I could just keep it.....no, I'll just make another" *put it back in the box* dance with things. Cheesy

Luckily for me my partner isn't from the same house.... it made things a little easier to get rid of..... not much mind you, but a little.
