1  Re: A bunch of Harry Potter scarves (photo chubby) in Knitting: Completed Projects by SapphireGypsy on: September 20, 2011 01:33:24 PM
Completed another one recently and I'm halfway through ANOTHER Ravenclaw scarf. lol I REALLY move the color that the blue turns when sunlight hits it in these Ravenclaw scarves. Cheesy

Thank you everyone for your kind words so much. For someone who has only been knitting for 3 years and taught herself on the internet I can't get over how much everyone loves these scarves.

Thank you all so much. Cheesy

3  Standard Book of Spells Grade 3 hollow book in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by SapphireGypsy on: August 24, 2011 11:33:40 AM
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this or not but as it was a paper box that's covered in paper.... I figured it was a good place to start.... please feel free to move it if it's not in the right place.

I made this for part of a swap and I'm dying to make one for myself but I wanted to kick myself for all the tiny painting along the spine so I may not.

I'm thinking of maybe making some up to sell but I don't know if there'd be an interest in them so any opinion on that is welcome as well as any other input. Cheesy

4  Re: Decked Out for Deathly Hallows Part II GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by SapphireGypsy on: July 05, 2011 07:12:15 PM
I came home from a rather long day to find my lovely package, which I wasn't expecting until tomorrow. Thank you KraftyKT for everything and I'm thrilled that you liked your package. Cheesy

Sorry for the less than stellar photos, we're in the middle of moving so lots of things are everywhere and the only place I can get internet to post is the old house... ugh I hate moving.

I hate that I flipped these around on photobucket but they apparently flipped back. *sigh*

5  The Dark Knight, kept in stitches! in Needlework: Completed Projects by SapphireGypsy on: June 03, 2011 01:47:09 PM
I have a tendency to embroider things that I don't see very often. This beauty took me about 30 hours and I loved just about every minute of it.

I'm hoping to find him a home someday.

Ashley G. I'm so glad you like the bag. I need to make myself a Renegade one for Cons, the interior fabric reminded me of the galaxy maps. Cheesy

Anyway, My package was full of Miranda-y goodness!

I got mine sent out today, now for the pins and needles waiting to see if my partner liked it. Cheesy

I received mine yesterday and had to wait for daylight to take some pictures.

What's inside the tin you ask?

Why one of my favorite Dumbledore quotes.

AND....

I certainly hope it's not being used as a horcrux, I've been wearing it a lot. Cheesy

Thanks Missgrace! I love it!

8  Re: Mass Effect Swap! (SIGNUP CLOSED, SENDOUT 4/11) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by SapphireGypsy on: March 30, 2011 11:27:21 AM
Just finishing up my other swap.... this is the last time I try to do 2 swaps that overlap.

I spent yesterday cleaning up my office so I could round everything up. I have everything I need now and just need to devote the time to one project instead of 3 like I've been doing for the past month. Cheesy

Oh and since someone asked... My Emma Frost costume from C2E2, all muslin, done in 3 days... it'll do in a pinch I guess. (With a friend as Phoenix and a stranger as Daken)

I can't wait to get started on my Loyal Miranda. Cheesy

The first poppet I've made, Olivia. She went to my niece.

I made her and then a bunch of dresses. Cheesy

(sorry for the dark pic, I took it with my phone before I took it to her, my camera battery was dead)
