1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Baby Blanket for my Baby Boy on: September 07, 2014 11:12:13 AM
So I have a 7 year old and God surprised my husband and I by blessing us with a new baby. Didnt find out I was pregnant till I was 5 1/2 mo preggers. So talk about surprised. When I found out I was gonna have another baby i wanted to make a crib set not purchase one or use the one from the first baby (winnie the Pooh). Since we didnt want to find out what we were having I went with with a neutral yellow with polka dots. Fell in love with the fabric and Bought several yards and went to town. Ended up with a crib skirt, curtains, changing pad cover, boppy cover, accent pillow, pouf, elephant and used the scraps to make a quit. Love how everything turned out. Hope you like

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Baby BLanket for my new baby bonus carseat blanket and hat on: September 07, 2014 10:20:21 AM
So I have a 7 year old and God surprised my husband and I by blessing us with a new baby. Didnt find out I was pregnant till I was 5 1/2 mo preggers. So talk about surprised.  I had made a couple blankets in the past for the baby I hoped to have but after 7 years didnt think I would have one. So when I found out I was gonna have another I had to make a new blanket just for this blessing. Since we didnt want to find out what we were having I went with rainbow colors. Hope you like
Love this pattern went very fast
My 8 Mo old baby trying out the blanket.

I had a lot of yarn left over so I decided to make a car seat blanket and a matching hat.

Close up of the hat and blanket dont have a full shot of the blanket I guess.

Beginning the car seat blanket it is a diagonal pattern so simple fast and easy.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Baby Blanket Chevron on: September 07, 2014 10:04:24 AM

Here is a shot with the new owner of this blanket.
Havent been on here in several months and havent posted anything new in quite a while so here we go. So I had a friend who just (6 mo ago) had a baby and as soon as I saw the chevrons she painted on the wall wanted to make a blanket to match. So here is the matching blanket for her wall. She loved it.

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Repunzel wig on: September 08, 2012 12:05:43 PM
Recently I did a personal swap with dfabric and I made her a pirate hat and eyepatch for her son and for her daughter I made her a Repunzel wig. Because I knew my kiddo would want one I made two, and sent the better one off for the swap. My daughters one has the flowers on the side, there was a blank spot. She loves it, she is 5 years old and the wig just hits the floor so it is quite long.

Both hats I sent for the swap

Thanks for looking.

10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Crocheters VS Knitters on: September 05, 2012 06:05:35 PM

So I was wondering if there would be any intrest to haveing a swap where a crocheter would be paired with a knitter and visa versa. They would each make something for thier partner. I love to crochet, and cant quite get the hang of the knitting but there are so many adorable knit patterns out there. I know that there are others out there who would love to exchange one for the other. If there is any intrest let me know. If there is intrest I would open up the signups in a week or two with and have sendouts a month after that. Hope there is intrest.
