3  Re: SECRET SANTA SWAP 2012 GALLERY!!!!! in The Swap Gallery by beth8144 on: December 12, 2012 05:20:59 PM
Mlookyloo1 asked me to post pics of what I made her. So here it is she likes to crochet and embroider and so I wanted to send her a great project bag for both addictions.
The little things I sent

This is a double sided embroidery bag, one sides buttons closed and one side zips clothes
also there is a small owl ornament I made for her tree.

The zipper side, with a needle book inside

Her store bought items for embroidery. The nail scissors are the best for getting at thread and taking out mistakes.

As a bonus I made her a crochet hook case and included Bamboo hooks and small scissors

The outside and you can see the size of the project bag

the inside of the big crochet project bag

I didnt know what material to use so I hope Lookyloo loves what I went with.  Merry Christmas

So Miss Barbara totally spoiled me. She sent us 3 stockings off my wish list, a matching scarf and fingerless gloves for me, a scarf and gloves for my daughter and lots of other goodies: stitch markers, a postcard, fairy decal, a zipper purse for the tittle one(she already put in her lunch box for her milk money) a screw driver key chain for DH(already on his keys), some adorable christmas tissues, two candy cane pens, two wall plaques ( "Hearts and boo boos healed here." and "Motherhood isn't for Wimps" so cute), She sent me socks which are teal one of my fav colors.

She also sent some presents for my Daughter for her birthday. She sent her the cutest wooden picture of the number six how old she will be (she took it out right away and colored it, she loves crafts), some stickers and a sticker book, also a geoboard.

We were so happy with anything and My daughter wants to put the stockings in her room she said she doesnt have any decorations in her room, how an I say no.

Thank you so much Miss Barbara. And Merry Christmas to you all!

9  Re: The Ongoing Poppet and Punkin-Along in Craftalongs by beth8144 on: September 09, 2012 12:26:58 PM
So I organized and cleaned my kiddos room before she started school. And I wanted to display some of her poppets. And I had to become a little creative and wanted to show what I did. Some of them are on the shelf, and the one she stuffed and her Maribel poppet are on her dresser, but the elf one I did and the mermaids I didnt have room for on the dresser and didnt want them in her doll chest. So I put ribbons around their neck and hung them on the walls. So technically they are being hung on the wall, but I think they look cute how bout you?

Just thought I would share.

10  Repunzel wig in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by beth8144 on: September 08, 2012 12:05:43 PM
Recently I did a personal swap with dfabric and I made her a pirate hat and eyepatch for her son and for her daughter I made her a Repunzel wig. Because I knew my kiddo would want one I made two, and sent the better one off for the swap. My daughters one has the flowers on the side, there was a blank spot. She loves it, she is 5 years old and the wig just hits the floor so it is quite long.

My daughters

Both hats I sent for the swap

Thanks for looking.
