So I have a 7 year old and God surprised my husband and I by blessing us with a new baby. Didnt find out I was pregnant till I was 5 1/2 mo preggers. So talk about surprised. When I found out I was gonna have another baby i wanted to make a crib set not purchase one or use the one from the first baby (winnie the Pooh). Since we didnt want to find out what we were having I went with with a neutral yellow with polka dots. Fell in love with the fabric and Bought several yards and went to town. Ended up with a crib skirt, curtains, changing pad cover, boppy cover, accent pillow, pouf, elephant and used the scraps to make a quit. Love how everything turned out. Hope you like

2  Baby BLanket for my new baby bonus carseat blanket and hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by beth8144 on: September 07, 2014 10:20:21 AM
So I have a 7 year old and God surprised my husband and I by blessing us with a new baby. Didnt find out I was pregnant till I was 5 1/2 mo preggers. So talk about surprised.  I had made a couple blankets in the past for the baby I hoped to have but after 7 years didnt think I would have one. So when I found out I was gonna have another I had to make a new blanket just for this blessing. Since we didnt want to find out what we were having I went with rainbow colors. Hope you like
Love this pattern went very fast
My 8 Mo old baby trying out the blanket.

Here is a shot with the new owner of this blanket.
Havent been on here in several months and havent posted anything new in quite a while so here we go. So I had a friend who just (6 mo ago) had a baby and as soon as I saw the chevrons she painted on the wall wanted to make a blanket to match. So here is the matching blanket for her wall. She loved it.

6  Re: SECRET SANTA SWAP 2012 GALLERY!!!!! in The Swap Gallery by beth8144 on: December 12, 2012 05:20:59 PM
Mlookyloo1 asked me to post pics of what I made her. So here it is she likes to crochet and embroider and so I wanted to send her a great project bag for both addictions.
The little things I sent

This is a double sided embroidery bag, one sides buttons closed and one side zips clothes
also there is a small owl ornament I made for her tree.

The zipper side, with a needle book inside

Her store bought items for embroidery. The nail scissors are the best for getting at thread and taking out mistakes.

As a bonus I made her a crochet hook case and included Bamboo hooks and small scissors

Closed

The outside and you can see the size of the project bag

the inside of the big crochet project bag

I didnt know what material to use so I hope Lookyloo loves what I went with.  Merry Christmas

7  Re: SECRET SANTA SWAP 2012 GALLERY!!!!! in The Swap Gallery by beth8144 on: December 09, 2012 09:14:46 AM
So Miss Barbara totally spoiled me. She sent us 3 stockings off my wish list, a matching scarf and fingerless gloves for me, a scarf and gloves for my daughter and lots of other goodies: stitch markers, a postcard, fairy decal, a zipper purse for the tittle one(she already put in her lunch box for her milk money) a screw driver key chain for DH(already on his keys), some adorable christmas tissues, two candy cane pens, two wall plaques ( "Hearts and boo boos healed here." and "Motherhood isn't for Wimps" so cute), She sent me socks which are teal one of my fav colors.

She also sent some presents for my Daughter for her birthday. She sent her the cutest wooden picture of the number six how old she will be (she took it out right away and colored it, she loves crafts), some stickers and a sticker book, also a geoboard.

We were so happy with anything and My daughter wants to put the stockings in her room she said she doesnt have any decorations in her room, how an I say no.

Thank you so much Miss Barbara. And Merry Christmas to you all!
